Aziel’s pov:
I closed my suitcase before putting it on the ground. I grabbed my wallet and my phone from my bed table before looking around to see if I miss something. Once I was sure that I had everything, I grabbed the handle of the suitcase and made my way outside my room.
I looked toward Catalaiya’s room and I saw the door slightly open, which means that she was still packing her stuff. I made my way downstairs and stay by the couch waiting for her.
“I’m ready,” Alfred told me as he walked into the living room.
“We’ll leave when she’ll be done packing,” I say and he nodded.
What Catalaiya doesn’t know was that we weren’t going to any hotel within our region. Instead, we
will have to take a plane–my dad’s jet- to go to our destination.
The other night, I lied to Catalaiya when I said that Eliza called, she didn’t but I did after Catalaiya agreed to go. Eliza and Eddie have a lot of hotels and I specifically chose one that looked and sounded amazing.
Now, I never go to hotels to chill and have fun… but this week was for Catalaiya. It’s my way to thank
her and she’s my wife, that’s the least I can do for her.
It’s 12:30 pm right now and according to the original planning, we would leave around 12:45 pm and make a 3 hours road trip to the hotel. That’s what Catalaiya knows. However, the plane leave at 1pm
and there was a 4–hour flight.
Alfred will drive us to the airport and come back in the car. Then both he and Thalia would be free to
do whatever they wanted.
Catalaiya’s pov:
I grabbed my make–up bag from the counter while glancing at myself one more time in the mirror
of the bathroom.
I put the make up bag in the suitcase before closing it. I took my phone from my bed table and went
to check my memo. Yesterday I wrote a whole list of things that I needed to bring with me. Once I
was sure I missed nothing, I made my way downstairs.
Midway, Alfred came to help me with the suitcase.
My eyes landed on Aziel who was already looking at me. I watched as he put his phone in his jean’s
pocket before walking closer to me.
It’s been a week and a half since the night he decided to kiss me goodnight on my cheek. Now he

does it every morning and every night without caring if I’m alone or not. Every time I would blush
like it’s the first time.
Also, he was completely fine now.
“Ready to go?” He asked and I nodded.
We make our way outside where Alfred was putting all the suitcases in the trunk. I furrowed my eyebrows when Aziel opened the back door. He was supposed to drive us to the hotel.
Alfred walked to the driver door making me more confused.
“Aren’t you going to sit?” I heard Aziel ask.
“Weren’t you supposed to drive?” I inquired.
Why would he need a driver at a hotel?
“Just sit,” he chuckled.
I did. Alfred drove while we relax at the back. He took a familiar road which I was sure was the airport. Why are we going to the airport? I was confused but at the same time, I was curious.
Aziel’s pov:
I glanced at her and the slight frown on her face told me that she knows we were heading toward the airport. I didn’t tell her right away about the plan. I waited till Alfred drove to the area of private jets
and stopped the car.
“What’s happening?” Her soft voice broke the silence of the car.
“We are going to the hotel,” I told her.
“By plane? It was a three hours drive, right?” She asked.
“I may or may not have booked a hotel on an island.” I finally confessed.
“What!” She asked surprised.
“It’ll be fun,”

I stepped out of the car and so did she. The guy came to pick our bags from the trunk and put on the plane. I waved at Alfred and he drove away. I shift my gaze to Catalaiya who was looking at
the jet in front of her.
I put my hand on her back, making her turn toward me.
“They are done with the suitcases, we should go inside,” I said and she nodded.

She walked up the stairs first and I followed her. The pilot greeted us at the entrance before going to
the front.
“Wow,” I heard her say as she looks around.
“That’s my dad private jet. Since he loves to put us in danger to save his life, Adam and I use this jet whenever we want without asking him.” I spoke.
“Let me guess, to piss him off?” She chucked.
“Yeah,” I nodded.
We sat on the chair and put on our seatbelts. There was only two air hostess in this jet and they came to check on us before they went to their seat and buckled up.
“How long is the flight?” She asked me.
“4 hours,” I replied.
We took off in the air. Once we were up, we removed the seat belt. I shift on the long couch as it was
more comfortable and leaned on the side.
“You should sit here, it’s comfier,” I told her. She moved and sat on my side. I grabbed the remote control and put on a random show. I glanced at her and found her reading one of the magasin that
was under the table.
There was another surprise for her but I’m not going to tell her yet. Adam and Alicia will be joining
us tomorrow afternoon. Adam wanted to do something nice for Alicia and he chose a vacation where
she’ll be able to enjoy and relax.
Even Alicia wasn’t aware of this. Adam will tell her tomorrow, two hours before they have to leave.
