Chapter 135
Valencia’s POV:
What did this mean?

Was my theory about parallel universes actually true? Or had everyone somehow traveled back in time without consciously remembering their past–only for their memories to resurface in fragments, hidden deep within their minds?
The idea sent shivers down my spine. If this was what was happening, then how many others had memories just waiting to break free?

Marcelene hummed beside me, deep in thought. “I wish we could tell Seven or Caius about this. They’d probably come up with a dozen theories in an instant.”
I sighed, my fingers tightening around the strap of my tote bag. “I don’t know… I mean, if it helps us prevent any deaths, then maybe we should tell them. But how would we even begin to explain it? Why would they believe us?”
Marcelene chuckled softly, shaking her head. “I don’t quite know. At first, I was suspicious of you, but then, all of a sudden, I just… trusted you. It felt like your words were something I already knew deep down. Like puzzle pieces clicking into place.” She shrugged. “But then again, I’m not exactly known for my smarts. Convincing me wasn’t hard. Caius, though? Seven? They won’t believe so easily.”
She had a point. Seven was intelligent–analytical even. Caius was just as sharp, if not more, and Dante? Well, he’d probably be the first one to believe me, not because of any proof, but he could feel that I wasn’t lying. But…for some reason I co tell that if he found out that his nightmares weren’t nightmares but actually something that has happened…..it might break
him.
He loved his family. His father. His mother. His brother. Me, Castor and now even Seven and Marcy. He may look stoic and standoffish from the outside, he didn’t like to show it but I could physically feel his emotions. I knew Dante was a soft person at heart.
I exhaled heavily, pressing my lips together. “Let’s not dwell on what we can’t do right now,” I murmured.
We had already stepped into the elevator before we had started talking, the sleek silver doors sliding shut with a faint hiss. The quiet hum of the mechanism filled the space as we descended. Marcelene leaned against the mirrored panel, arms crossed.
“When are you guys leaving for Dubai?” I asked, tilting my head slightly.
Her brows furrowed, and she let out a small sigh. “Not sure yet. There are still some things I need to take care of first. But Caius mentioned it could be in a week or two.”
I nodded in understanding. The move was a big one, and even though she acted nonchalant about it, I could tell there was hesitation beneath the surface.
As we stepped out into the grand foyer, Marcelene turned toward the double doors, grabbing her coat.
“Wanna join?” she asked, glancing over her shoulder. “It’s been a while, and Mom has been asking about you.”
I smiled, but shook my head. “No, I need to get back into my routine.” My stomach churned at the thought. “See you at dinner?”
She gave a small nod before slipping outside.
The moment the door clicked shut behind her, I let out a deep sigh.
The past week in Dubai had been… a dream. Dante, Castor, and I had spent our days indulging in luxuries–lounging at resorts, dining on exotic foods, and exploring the breathtaking skyline.

Chapter 135
It had felt like a honeymoon.
But now, reality was crashing back down on me like a tidal wave.

I glanced down at the tote bag in my arms. Castor’s shell was warm beneath my touch, humming faintly with life. Almost six months had passed since I came here, and he had grown significantly larger. Carrying him in my arms for long periods was no longer practical, which was why Nina–our head maid–had crafted this custom bamboo tote for me.
Still, as much as I adored holding him close, I had slowly learned to leave him in his cot for longer stretches.
I had gotten my unusual possessiveness under control–which, honestly, I was proud of. Though I still hated when anyone outside of our inner circle touched him. It was an instinct I couldn’t quite shake. Because of that, none of the maids or butlers were allowed into my room if I wasn’t present.
I was about to head upstairs when a guard entered the mansion, his expression shaken.
“Luna, there are guests from the Wolfe pack here to see you.”
My brows lifted slightly. “Aiden?”
.He hesitated before nodding. “Yes. But he brought three others with him.”
A strange sense of unease curled in my gut. “Who else?”
The guard’s lips pressed into a thin line. “Alpha Jaxon and two omegas.”
My breath caught.
What?
I felt my body tense as my heart lurched in my chest. Jaxon?
Right now?
After three whole months.
Just when I was alone?
A wave of anger rolled through me..
I took a deep breath, steadying myself. No. I had to stay composed. I was the Luna now. This was my territory.
And besides, Aiden was with them. That alone made me feel slightly less wary. But why would he bring Jaxon here?
Grinding my teeth, I straightened my posture and gave the guard a firm nod. “Let them in.”
Turning toward the receptionist stationed near the table between the grand staircases, I added, “Inform the maids to serve refreshments. And call Dante–let him know we have unexpected visitors.”
I needed him to be aware.
I wasn’t stupid enough to think Jaxon had come here just for a friendly chat.
My fingers itched at my sides as I glanced down at my outfit. A cropped sweater and flared jeans. Casual, but not exactly what I wanted to greet them in.
I turned on my heel and made my way upstairs, entering my room quickly.
Setting Castor into his cot, I closed the domed cover securely before heading toward the wardrobe.

Chapter 135
A black dress. Modest, elegant, yet firm.
As much as I enjoyed dressing up for Dante–especially in red, which had quickly become both of our favorite color on me -I didn’t want to give anyone the wrong idea.
I didn’t know what I was walking into.
Better to play it safe.
Pulling my hair into a sleek, low bun, I touched up my lipstick in the vanity mirror. My reflection stared back at me, eyes sharp and unwavering.
Good.
Exhaling softly, I stepped out of the room–only to nearly bump into Seven.
He looked up, startled, before quickly masking his expression.
Still, I could see the shimmer in his eyes.
- He was excited.
“Alpha Aiden is here to visit?” he asked, voice carefully neutral.
I felt a pang of guilt.
He didn’t say Anastasia’s name, but I knew he was hoping she wasn’t here. He hadn’t reacted visibly when Aiden’s engagement was brought up, but… meeting her in person? That was different.
I sighed. I couldn’t hide it from him.
“Yeah,” I admitted. “And he brought his fiancée and Jaxon.”
I saw the flicker of emotion in his eyes before he quickly smothered it. His fingers twitched slightly at his sides, but to my surprise, he didn’t comment on Anastasia.
Instead, his frown deepened.
“Jaxon?” His tone sharpened. “But Alpha Dante is out in the community.” His gaze snapped up to meet mine. “Are you going down there alone? Where’s Marcy?”
I nodded. “Marcy already left for her mother’s place.”
Seven’s jaw tightened. “I am coming with you.”
I tilted my head, studying him.
He had changed so much in just a few months. Gone was the timid boy who flinched at every sudden noise. He stood straighter now, more confident–but still carrying a quiet wariness beneath the surface.
“I’ll be fine,” I reassured him. “Aiden’s there.”
His lips pressed into a firm line, and he shook his head in refusal.
I could see the worry flickering in his expression.
I couldn’t blame him.
Because deep down, I knew something might go wrong.
