Chapter 238
Chapter 238
Most of the clothes that Lila picked actually fit me perfectly. She was right! They accentuated my curves all while still managing to look pretty decent, giving me the coverage I always crazed for. I wasn’t exactly a conservative person but I still enjoyed covering up sometimes.
“We should get you some jewelry,” Lila said as we paid for the clothes we had just bought, which were surprisingly cheap for the lot we had gotten.
Lila had assured me that most things were cheaper than most would expect here and that was because, unlike bigger packs, no one was looking to make ridiculously huge profits so they could be wealthy and buy the most beautiful houses and cars, here everyone was content just making enough. There was hardly any discrimination here.
Most of the stores were owned by omegas which were usually rare, although since my mother became Luna many things had changed for omegas but apparently not as much in other packs as it had been in ours. I made a mental note to talk to my parents about it one of these days. There were still packs out there that still believed that omegas were pretty baby- making toys to be owned and used.
As we walked around the jewelry store, Lila busied herself with buzzing around trying to find what jewelry fit what clothes, I didn’t think I was going to use a lot of jewelry since I really didn’t enjoy them that much but one particular necklace caught my attention.
It was a silver one with three pendants that came in different sizes and looked like it had three layers. One was the sun, the other the moon, and the last was a star.
“That’s beautiful,” Lila whispered beside me and I nodded my head slowly.

“We’re getting it, come on.” She said, pulling me with her to the checkout.
“I’m hungry and this is another it.”
reason I don’t like shopping. It takes too much energy and I’m always famished at the end of
“Or maybe the other reason is that your father is Alpha King and you can always get people to do your shopping for you,” Lila whispered mischievously her eyes laughing.
I couldn’t help it when I started laughing loudly and she soon joined me, we got a few stares but it didn’t make me stop like I usually would have done instead it made me laugh harder.
“Hi, Lila. Who’s your friend?” The male waiter said with a friendly smile the moment we settled in. I blushed as he gave me a wink.
“Trust me she’s taken already,” Lila said, wiggling her brows playfully.
“Stop it!”
“Can we have lemonades please, and two hotdogs?” Lila said and the cute guy nodded his head before dashing off. Lila said and the cute guy nodded his head before dashing off.
“You didn’t have to say that,” I said and the idiot cackled loudly.
“I’m going to use the restroom. Can you point me in that direction?” I asked and she nodded, pointing where I had to go.
I moved in the direction and bumped into someone on my way into the restroom.
“Goddess, forgive me, I’m so sorry,” I said but the person continued on their way like I hadn’t even touched them. Their red hair struck me and it just made me wonder the kind of person they would be.
Shrugging, I stepped into the bathroom, moving into one of the stalls that were pleasantly clean before doing my business, once I was out I moved to the sink to wash my hands, wincing when I remembered when Kyla told me that Kevin didn’t wash his hands after using the restroom most times.

Chapter 238
Compared to the remaining of us in the house, Kevin was a proper pig. I wondered how his room would ever survive without me being there to help him clean it while he bribed me. Kyla always refused to go into his room.
I moved out of the restroom and once again it was to bump into someone at the entrance. I looked up to find the red–haired and I frowned but she smiled widely. Her eyes were a mixture. It was brown but it had a mix of something red, it was intriguing to stare at, her smile though was completely different.
It was weird and scary, it looked like the smile one gave when they knew something you didn’t.
“C–can I help you?” I asked, taking a step back, eyeing to try to remember if I could remember her.
“The Wolf King’s daughter wanders far away from his protective paws and teeth. How interesting.” She said, but I didn’t get the time to respond.
She let out a little laugh that sent a chill up my spine before turning around and walking away, leaving me frozen in shock.
