Stephen’s eyes widened in shock. That was the last answer he expected.
The bodyguards he brought reached for their guns, ready to restrain Dennis if the latter made any moves.
Stephen quickly gathered himself and waved to his men. “Stand down. If he can sit there and speak the truth, admitting his mistakes from back then, it means he’s trying to turn over a new leaf.”
He then continued saying to Dennis, “As long as you continue to tell us what you know, your sentence will be reduced.”
Dennis almost burst out in laughter.
Stephen asked, “Who started the riots in Seaside City three years ago?”
“Me.”
Stephen’s hand twitched.
This time, he stood up and stared at Dennis, shocked that the chaos in Seaside City three years ago was caused by the man himself!
Suddenly, Stephen thought of something. If Dennis caused the chaos in Seaside City, and Ethan kept Crestwood in line, that meant that Ethan was the one who brought peace to Seaside City!
Stephen struggled to process the realization that Ethan was actually the one who restored.

Those were three different questions, but they all pointed to the same person–Dennis Lewis!
