Chapter 73
Though North Hill City had seen better days financially, the city funds had not rum oot completely. Danny had many ways to make bank
Once Stephen got home, he left the follow–up of the nature reserve in Danny’s care. He could have handed the file to Danny in North Hill City, but Danny would have been all over
him.
Hence, he waited until he was back before assigning the project over. Danny would have to resort to calling for any issues, and Stephen had a choice of hanging up on him.
All worries left Stephen the moment he issued the document to Danny as he could finally say goodbye to North Hill City.
He even gave Simon a call.
“I can guarantee no issue with the guy I picked. He’s honest and kind. I personally tested him, and he’s an all–around great. I’m pleased with him.”
While listening to Stephen’s comments on Danny, Simon read Danny’s file.
“Okay.” He nodded. “You made the right call on him. The guy doesn’t look smart, but we don’t need wise guys in North Hill City.
“I doubt anyone would get any ideas, especially after the ordeal North Hill City has been through.”
Simon found Danny suitable too.
Meanwhile, Danny received the document from Stephen. After a quick read, he understood Stephen’s plans.
“But here’s an opportunity. If Brandon could scam money out of using a plot of land, I can do the same.”
He, having studied Shawn, Eric, and Brandon’s profitable ideas, looked up to those three individuals.
With that, he picked a location, drafted a building plan, and then dropped a bombshell.
“We’re constructing another commercial center in the city with schools in the area.
“You can expect lots of perks and benefits for residents here.”
Danny’s words piqued many interests.
With a commercial center, schools, and many other perks, owning a property there would be a sound investment as real estate prices were likely to appreciate. Families with children would also have easy access to the schools in the area.

Chapter 73
Since North Hill City had just been through hell and back, another issue was unlikely to turn up. Thus, many people secured their properties with down payments.
In mere days, Danny received up to 100 million dollars. Nevertheless, those who invested in properties at the nature reserve refused to have it, demanding answers from Danny.
Danny said with a smile, “I understand where you are coming from. Don’t worry. I have a solution. I promise it’s the perfect solution to keep everybody happy.”
Danny did not go into the details, only promising perfection.
Truth be told, he planned to take off like Shawn and his friends. Once out of the borders, Danny would no longer have any problems on his hands.
Danny talked a big game and persuaded the disgruntled crowd to leave without a fight.
“These people will most likely leave me alone for now, and I should focus on making money.”
Danny felt he was not making enough and could milk more money out of the public. Hence, he contacted some factories, making lucrative offers to move their plants to North Hill City and promising them cheap labor.
The factory owners were skeptical, but it did not take long for people to flock to low–wage jobs. The wages could barely cover basic living expenses.
The only issue was their immigration status as they were undocumented. However, the business owners could care less. It did not matter where they came from or what they were so long as these people could make these business owners rich.
