“I’ve always been at odds with foreign forces. Why would I ever collaborate with them? As for the evidence you mentioned, where is it?”
The order he left in the secret room was fake. It was something he had specially fabricated to frame the South Regent. He already knew that there would be a search tonight, so why would he leave the real order there?
He had already sent the real order back to the Spencers‘ residence after Stephen left. No one would find it!
Jeremy picked up the folder. “It’s right here. We have the order sheet of your dealings with the foreign forces.”
Nolan smiled. “That’s not my company’s order form. It’s the South Regent’s company’s order.”
Fabian froze and looked at Nolan in shock, realizing that Nolan had switched the order! He had fallen into his trap!
He brought Jeremy here to find the real order. Then, Jeremy would give the order to Stephen, and they would expose the Spencers‘ schemes. However, Nolan had anticipated their arrival and prepared an order to frame the South Regent instead.
What would Stephen do when he saw this order? The Spencer Group would get away scot–free and even take over the South Regent’s company in Hill City!
Jeremy quickly opened the folder to take a closer look. He only had a glance back in the secret room, but looking at it now, the order was indeed a transaction between foreign forces and the South Regent’s company in Hill City!
Nolan continued, “It took me a lot of effort to get my hands on this order. The South Regent must have sent the person beside you to retrieve it. You were definitely tricked and used.”
Jeremy glared at Fabian, his eyes filled with anger. He finally understood that Fabian intended to use him to retrieve the order and destroy the evidence!
Fabian paled. He did not expect this outcome. They had fallen into a trap and were being driven apart by Nolan.
“I didn’t trick you! You have to trust me!” Fabian quickly said, “Nolan is the one deceiving you. That order is fake!”
Jeremy glared at him coldly, not believing him. He slowly walked over to Nolan’s side.
Stephen had told him to be careful of the South Regent and his men because they were cunning and shameless. Now, Nolan was telling him that he had been tricked and used.
Jeremy finally realized how good the South Regent’s subordinates were at lying. If not for Nolan, he would have caused a major incident!

Nolan watched Jeremy walk over to him and smirked at Fabian. Then, he said to Jeremy, ” Since you work for Stephen, I’ll call him and have him take you back.”
Stephen soon arrived. When he heard that Jeremy had broken into Nolan’s house at night with the South Regent’s subordinate, he was furious.
He entered the villa and immediately slapped Jeremy. “What are you thinking? I told you not to trust the South Regent and his men. Did you completely ignore me? Do you even respect me at all?”
Jeremy’s cheek swelled up, and he lowered his head. “I’m sorry. I was tricked.”
“Don’t just apologize to me. Apologize to Nolan too!”
Jeremy faced Nolan and bowed his head sincerely
Nolan smiled. “It’s nothing. You can go now. Thanks for coming all the way, Stephen.”
Stephen took the folder and said excitedly, “No, thank you. Thank you for obtaining this order.”
“It’s my honor to help you.”
Stephen was pleased by the words and laughed. “Getting evidence of the South Regent’s crimes is a great achievement. You’ll be awarded at a commendation ceremony!”
