Jeremy left the office with the man and exchanged contact information before parting. He also found out that the man’s name was Fabian Grant
After returning home, he took out his phone and called Stephen. “I found someone working for the South Regent at the Spencer Group. They’re also looking for evidence against the Spencers.”
Stephen frowned. “Be careful. They’re a cunning bunch.”
“But he saved me.”
“He’s just trying to get close to you,‘ said Stephen. “You just arrived at Riveria, so you don’t know how despicable people can be. You’ll be easily deceived.”
Was that really the case? Jeremy was doubtful.
“What did he say to you?” Stephen asked.
“He mentioned Ethan.” Jeremy hesitated. He wanted to ask Stephen if the latter had truly imprisoned Ethan just to steal his achievements. However, Stephen was his benefactor, so neither did Jeremy dare to ask, nor could he.
“Ethan?” Stephen’s expression instantly turned cold. “I knew it. They must have told you how amazing Ethan is and how incompetent I am. Don’t believe them. It’s all part of their scheme!
Jeremy felt that the other party had no reason to trick him, but he said, “I know.”
Stephen sighed in relief. “Is that all you found out in these past few days?”
“No,” Jeremy said. “I found out that the Spencers have conducted business with foreign forces. They have an order form in their hands.”
Stephen was stunned. “Is that true? Is there really something wrong with the Spencers?”
Jeremy shook his head. “It was the South Regent’s man who told me about the order. I don’t know the specifics. I’ll continue looking into it.”
Stephen became wary. Without evidence, everything was just speculation. Just this much could not determine if there was something wrong with the Spencers.
In fact, he felt that the South Regent was deliberately misleading them to believe that there was something wrong with the Spencers. The South Regent wanted to use him to eliminate the Spencers. That meant that the Spencers were clean, and they were able to suppress the South Regent well. If he eliminated the Spencers, the South Regent would gain more power.
Stephen said, “I’ll give you another month. If you still don’t find anything, then stop investigating.”

Jeremy frowned. Stephen’s words had left an impression on him. He did not know what was going on in Riveria. Just how despicable was the South Regent, and was Ethan also hiding something?
He was worried that Fabian would trick him into making him think that Ethan was the good guy and the Spencers were evil.
Jeremy took a deep breath and answered the phone.
Fabian’s voice sounded. “I know where the order is.”
“Where?” Jeremy asked. “And how would you know?”
“Someone else told me. The order has been sent to Nolan Spencer,” Fabian said. “He’s in his villa at Hill City. I’ll send you the address later.”
Jeremy fell into thought. “How are we supposed to get the order? Sneak in?”
Fabian laughed. “Are you crazy? Have you forgotten who you’re working for? Just have Stephen step in, and you can search Nolan’s house openly.”
Jeremy suddenly realized that he could ask Stephen for help.
