“Don’t kill them!” Andy yelled, not caring about the pain. “I’m the son of the Whites. If you hurt them, I won’t let you get away with it!”
“Even if you’re the head of the Whites, it’s useless here.” Scarface said, “Beat him up, but don’t kill him. We’ll carry him later so he doesn’t make trouble on the way.”
The men obeyed immediately, kicking and punching Andy as he lay helpless on the ground.
The girl clung tightly to her mother’s leg, already in tears. Her mother’s face was pale, tears streaming down her cheeks. While her husband, shot in the chest, convulsed on the floor, on the brink of death, the gun barrel was aimed at her and her daughter.
Despite the brutal beating, Andy fought through the pain, using his last ounce of strength to shout, “I know Ethan! I really do know him!”
The glasses guy froze and cried out, “He knows Ethan!”
With that, the men beating up Andy stopped immediately.
Scarface lowered his gun, quickly walked to Andy, yanked him up, and asked sternly, “Do you really know Ethan?”
