In Hill City, Marcus tracked Andy’s phone location to determine where he went and then got someone to bring up the surveillance footage, eventually tracing Andy to a company under the South Regent.
About ten minutes later, Andy left and went to a hotel. The surveillance footage, however, did not show Andy leaving.
Marcus and his men went to the hotel to look for Andy, but Dylan was nowhere to be found. He requested the hotel’s security footage, only to discover that several cameras had malfunctioned.
Alerted to the situation, the hotel manager to fix them and was told
called technicians ov that the security cameras had only recently gone down. Marcus had a bad feeling about it.
When the cameras were fixed and the security footage was restored, it only showed Andy entering a room, but there was no record of what happened after that. Andy’s phone was also in the room.
Marcus had someone hack into the phone, but after a thorough search, he did not find anything useful.
“Where is he? What is he doing?” Marcus muttered under his breath.
He stared at the phone on the table and could not make sense why Andy would leave his phone behind. Left with no choice, he decided to wait in the hotel for Andy to return.
When he waited until the second day and Andy was still nowhere to be found, his anxiety grew, Without his phone, where else could Andy stay for the night?
He then took the phone with him and went to the company Andy had dropped by yesterday. According to the information he had received from Stephen, the company had ties to the South Regent.
Could Andy’s disappearance be linked to the South Regent?
Marcus stated his identity and went straight to the company owner’s room.
“Have you seen Andy White?” he asked, straight to the point.
“I did.”
“When?”
“Yesterday afternoon.”
“What was he doing here?”
The owner chuckled. “He wanted to beat us up, but our security kicked him out.”
“Why would he beat you guys up?” Marcus asked his brows furrowed.

“I don’t know. He was causing a scene, so I called security to kick him out. He’s the son of the Whites, and we’re just a small company. We can’t afford to have him mess up our place.
“Since you’re here for him, I bet you have some sort of relationship with him. May I know what he wants from us?”
Marcus fell silent. He had a theory.
Andy had lost to Ethan, and his pride had taken a hit. Knowing that Ethan defeated the South Regent before, the young man wanted to defeat the South Regent, or his men, to prove himself.
“What’s the matter?” the owner asked.
Marcus snapped out of it and responded, “Nothing. If you see Andy White, call me. This is my phone number.”
With that, he left the office.
Based on the security footage, Andy was shoved out of the main entrance by security, but what happened to him after he returned to the hotel?
Why had the security cameras gone down in such a timely manner? Where could Andy be?
Marcus could not figure out the answer. He was forced to call the police and get them to search for the young man. At the same time, he also called the Whites. The family was outraged by the news and ordered him to bring Andy back.
“I told you Riveria isn’t safe, yet you insist on bringing him there! If you don’t bring him back, you will suffer dire consequences!”
Marcus felt helpless. He did not expect Andy to go missing either, but now that Andy had disappeared, he had to do whatever he could to bring him back.
