Chapter 369
Chapter 369
The South Regent owning a company in Riveria was unacceptable. It was disrespectful to Stephen and the others.
That would be a chance for Andy to prove himself.
Stephen asked, “Why do you ask?”
Andy chuckled and said, “Nothing. I have something else to do. Talk to you
later.
“”
With that, he got up and left.
As soon as he left Stephen’s place, he booked a ticket to Hill City. He did not ask Stephen which company belonged to the South Regent, but he believed he could easily locate it by asking around.
After Andy got onto the plane, Marcus realized the young man was gone. He tried calling Andy but could not get through since the phone was turned to airplane mode.
“Where is he?” He sent someone to find out where Andy had
gone earlier.
A while later, he dropped by Stephen’s place as it was the last place Andy had been seen.
When Stephen saw Marcus at his house, he furrowed his brows. He had never seen the man before.
“Who are you?”
“I’m Andy’s mentor, Marcus West.”
“You’re Marcus West?”
He had heard of Marcus and his amazing feat of single–handedly defeating more than a dozen enemies at once.
After knowing the man’s identity, Stephen curiously asked, “What are you doing here?” Marcus said, “Andy is missing. We found out he was last seen at your place.”
Stephen frowned harder. Andy was missing?
“He stopped by earlier, asking me if I knew where the people from beyond the borders were. I told him they’re in Celestial City and Hill City, but he just bolted off.”
Marcus already had a hunch about what had happened after listening to Stephen’s side of the story, Andy, eager to prove himself, must have gone to search for the people from beyond the borders.
After some more investigation, he found out that Andy was on a plane to Hill City. Without further ado, he made his way there.

Stephen was left alone on the couch, baffled. Something felt off, though he could not quite put his finger on it.
Upon arrival, Andy went straight to the company that belonged to the South Regent. He clained to be a son of the Whites and boasted of driving all foreigners back across the border.
The company’s owner contacted the South Regent.
“Your Highness, someone is claiming to be the son of the Whites is here, trying to cause a scene. What should we do?”
Slightly taken aback, the South Regent said, “Bring him here.”
As he hung up the phone, a wicked smile spread across his face.
Just yesterday, he had sent Stephen a bullet at his wedding, signaling that he would eventually take revenge against him. The bullet had taken one of his best men’s lives, and now fate had delivered Andy to him.
Although Andy was not a Quinn, he grew up in the capital and was connected to Stephen. If he could take Andy, he could use the same way to get revenge.
The Grand Marshal’s mentee killed one of his best men, so he ought to kill the mentee’s friend as revenge–a life for a life.
When Marcus arrived at Hill City, he was already too late because Andy was taken away. Andy was knocked out cold and was transported beyond the borders.
A day later, he was jolted awake by a splash of cold water. The freezing cold woke him up instantly, causing him to cry out in shock, and laughter sounded around him.
Alarmed, Andy looked around and realized he was surrounded by men with tanned skin. None of them wore shirts, and they were all scrutinizing him with a ferocious look, hungry wolves looking at a sheep.
Andy tensed up. “Who the hell are you people? Where am I?”
“To you, this is beyond the borders,” said a voice coming from behind.

The men surrounding Andy moved to the side, allowing the South Regent to come forward. He scrutinized Andy with a playful stare, wondering how he should torture the young man to death.
Andy was not just any John Doe, and it was unwise to kill him directly. The South Regent wanted Andy to suffer a mental breakdown and then kill himself, like how his man died.
