Chapter 368
Marcus got up on his feet and glared at Andy as the young man walked away.
“Stop right there!”
Andy turned a deaf ear and continued walking,
Ethan took a sip of tea. “I see your choice of students needs to be improved. I’ve told you before that it’s not just about someone’s abilities–character matters most.”
Lowering his head, Marcus muttered in embarrassment, “I’m sorry. Andy is still young and foolish. I apologize on his behalf. Please don’t mind the boy’s temper. I’ll teach him better from now on. Please excuse me.”
He then went after Andy and found the boy inside the car.
“I told you to apologize. Why are you being so stubborn?” Marcus said, exasperated.
Andy replied, “I did nothing wrong. Give me time, and I will surpass him. I don’t need to apologize to him.”
Marcus could only sigh. “Surpass him? Do you have any idea what he’s done in the past? One word from him and the nine infamous assassins beyond the borders were taken down, with seven dead and two crippled.
“And that’s not all. He even fought the South Regent once, and the South Regent didn’t last more than ten moves against him.”
Andy’s heart skipped a beat. “He’s that strong?”
It was hard for Andy to believe that someone similar to his age had accomplished all that.
“You think I’m kidding? Now get back in there and apologize! If you show some humility and a genuine desire to improve, he might even be willing to teach you a thing or two,” Marcus said.
Andy clenched his teeth. “I don’t need him to teach me anything. I said I will surpass him! No matter who he is, I am still a White. I’m already better than him!”
To him, Riveria was just a small rural province, and if Ethan grew up locally, there was no way Ethan could compare to someone like him, who came from a prominent family. The fact that he had come to see Ethan twice was already more respect than he thought Ethan deserved.
With that, Andy started the car and drove off with Marcus, who sighed helplessly. He figured he would come back with gifts to apologize to Ethan.
That night, the two of them checked into a hotel. However, Andy had a sleepless night. The moment he closed his eyes, his mind kept drifting back to Ethan’s achievements.

Chapter 368
Taking down the South Regent under ten moves was an amazing achievement,
“I have to prove myself! I won’t let him look down on me,”
Andy pondered.
Riveria was next to the border, and the majority of its income source came from beyond the borders. If he could just ask Stephen for a tip or two, maybe he could know more about the enemies beyond the borders.
He planned to defeat the enemies beyond the borders to prove that he was no weaker than Ethan.
The next day, Andy went to Stephen.
Stephen’s wedding was just over, and he still had not returned to Celestial City. When he woke up and went outside the room, Rachel had finished her breakfast.
Just as he went downstairs, Rachel glanced at him before putting her spoon down and leaving. He did not even get the chance to speak to her.
He felt frustrated. Newlywed should be enjoying the happiness after marriage, yet his was entirely different. It had been two days, and Rachel still would not let him lay a finger on
her.
He was a Quinn and had never been treated like that before. When had he ever been treated
like that?
He really wanted to slap some sense into Rachel, but he dared not act on it when he thought about George and Snow.
He had a few bites of breakfast but quickly lost his appetite. He ordered the servant to clear the table before heading back to his room, planning to get some rest when Andy came knocking.
Stephen was surprised to see Andy. “I thought you went back.”
Andy smiled and said, “I have something to do, so I came back.”
“What is it?” Stephen asked, curious.
“It’s nothing. I’m here to ask you about the South Regent. You’ve been in Riveria for quite some time now, but have you encountered the South Regent’s men before?”
Stephen nodded. “Quite a number. Celestial City and Hill City even have companies under the South Regent’s name.”
Andy’s eyes lit up.
