Chapter 364
Back in Metropolis, Andy quickly sought out his mentee, Marcus West, a true military expert.
“Sir, I was bullied! Please help me get revenge! Andy immediately asked for help upon seeing Marcus.
Marcus frowned. “Who would dare to bully you?”
Andy was the young scion of the White family in Metropolis. Having been trained since childhood, his skills were unmatched among his peers. Given his noble status and exceptional abilities, no one in Metropolis dared provoke him.
“This guy in Riveria. I couldn’t beat him, and worst of all, he was disrespectful to you too. He actually told you to go to him for training!”
“Oh?” Marcus’s expression shifted slightly.
He had retired from serving Riveria.
Three years ago, after Ethan pacified Riveria, he had told them to leave. Now, Marcus was married with children and had been tasked with training Andy by the Whites. Life was good.
Occasionally, he still thought about Ethan. Before the Grand Marshal passed away, he had tasked them with taking care of Ethan. They treated Ethan like a brother, planning to look after him carefully.
However, contrary to their expectations, Ethan quickly took up the role of a leader, stabilizing the chaos both inside and outside of Riveria. He even frightened the South Regent back across the border.
Thinking back on it now, they all wished they could tell the Grand Marshal that Ethan should take care of them instead.
Andy’s voice interrupted Marcus’s thoughts.
“Sir, that person looks down on you. How can you take it standing? Come with me to Riveria and help me get my revenge!”
Not wanting to get involved, Marcus smiled wryly and asked, “Which young kid from Riveria did you clash with? Haven’t I told you? Failure isn’t scary–what’s scary is not learning from failure. If you’ve lost, it just means you haven’t trained enough.”
Andy gritted his teeth and spat, “I’ve trained more than enough. If you won’t help me get revenge, I don’t see the point in training anymore.”
Marcus shook his head helplessly at how bitter Andy was about that defeat.
“Well, in that case,
let’s go and take a look.”

Andy’s eyes lit up, and he quickly arranged for them to fly to Riveria.
He had trained since he was a kid, and no one had ever beaten him. Being knocked to the ground several times yesterday was too humiliating, and he had to restore his honor as soon as possible. He could not wait any second longer!
On the plane, Marcus asked, “Tell me how he defeated you.”
Andy described what happened.
Marcus narrowed his eyes. “If he could dodge your attacks and knock you down twice, this person’s strength is probably similar to yours, but he’s got more experience.
“With your talent, you’ll easily beat him if you keep practicing.”
Andy felt proud to hear that it was not that he lacked skill. All he needed was simply more experience. He was a genius, and once his combat experience improved, crushing Ethan would be effortless.
That afternoon, they landed in Riveria, and Andy quickly led Marcus to Drakthorn Ridge.
Marcus asked, “You’ve been running around the past few days. Don’t you need rest?”
“Revenge comes first!” Andy exclaimed excitedly.
They soon arrived at the mansion on Drakthorn Ridge.
Marcus looked at the yard in the mansion, noticing a large tree with a table and lounge chair beneath it, flowers growing on one side, and two vegetable gardens.
To him, everything about the mansion felt out of place. The environment looked nothing like where a wealthy young kid would live.
“Are
you sure the
person who defeated you is inside?” Marcus asked.
“Yes.”
“How much older is he than you?”
“He looks about the same age.
Marcus found it increasingly strange that a capable young man’s home would have a garden of flowers and vegetables instead of a collection of beautiful women.
He looked at the mansion. The front door was wide open, as if waiting for their arrival.
“Let’s go!”
Andy led Marcus into the mansion.
Seeing the hall empty, Andy shouted, “Where are you? Didn’t you say you wanted to challenge my mentor? Well, I’ve brought him here. Come out and say that again if you’ve

got the guts!”
Andy reckoned Ethan must be hiding out of fear, too scared to face him and Marcus or afraid of being knocked down by Marcus!
“Come on out! Are you hiding? Coward. Chicken. If you’re scared, come out and apologize, and I’ll consider forgiving you!”
As soon as those words left his mouth, they heard the clicking sound of a door opening upstairs. Andy and Marcus looked up to see Ethan walking out of the room, holding a book.
In that instant, Marcus’s eyes met his, and it hit Marcus hard. Those eyes and that face belonged to Ethan. It meant that the person living there was Ethan!
Remembering Andy’s words, Marcus could feel his legs go weak. Even though he was a battle–hardened warrior who had once returned victorious after facing dozens of enemies abroad, he still felt afraid to see Ethan.
