Chapter 351
One of his friends immediately handed him a cigarette and lit it for him.
Stephen said, “I need a favor.”
The others were shocked. Stephen, the one who used to think that his family was omnipotent, was asking them for help?
Their expressions grew serious. What could it be that Stephen needed help with?
“Tell us what you need, Stephen.”
“Help me find someone.”
“Find someone?” They were bewildered.
The Quinns were one of the most powerful families in Metropolis. What kind of person would they have trouble finding?
However, Stephen needed their help finding someone.
“Stephen, you’re not trying to find an alien, are you?”
His other friends chuckled, but Stephen took out his phone and showed them a picture of
Snow.
“Help me find her. Her name is Snow Green. She was sent away to a remote village.”
As soon as they saw the picture, they instantly recognized her as a criminal!
“Didn’t she die?”
Snow’s death had been sensational news back then, so they all knew about it.
Stephen shook his head. “No. She was rescued, but the person sent her away to a village. I can’t call for a public search for her.”
His friends were all shocked.
Snow was rescued! Who could have done it? They managed to fool everyone.
“Why can’t you call for a search?” someone asked.
Stephen said, “Because she’s a criminal. She committed suicide to escape punishment, and I still love her. I hold a special status. If people find out that she’s not dead and that I’m looking for her openly, what would they think?”
His friends finally understood. Stephen was in charge of Riveria and the Grand Marshal’s student. How could he be with a criminal?
“That’s right. You can’t openly search for Snow.”

“That’s strange. Why would someone save her secretly, only to send her away to some remote village? Is it to torment her?”
That was the only explanation they could think of. That person must have sent Snow to a village to suffer for the rest of her life,
“No.” Stephen shook his head, taking a deep drag on the cigarette. “It’s not to forment Snow. It’s to torment me.”
“Huh?” His friends were confused. Why was Stephen being tormented if Snow was the one sent to the village? “What do you mean? You’re right here talking to us, and you can enjoy all the conveniences of living in a big city. How is that tormenting you?”
Stephen glanced at them and seemed to see himself in the past. Before he met Ethan and experienced so many failures, he had also been clueless and took everything for granted.
Now that he was deeply entangled in the situation, he knew how complex and helpless he
was.
“Because I love her. I yelled at her before she died… Even now, I haven’t had the chance to apologize to her. I don’t live in peace for each day I don’t find her. I’m being tormented every day.”
His friends widened their eyes. They understood it now. Stephen was living every day in regret and guilt!
“Who could be so cruel?”
“You can’t openly search for Snow, but what about going after the person who caused you this pain?”
“Stephen, if you don’t want to find him, we can help you instead!”
Stephen shook his head. “I know who he is.‘
“Did you get revenge?”
They thought that since Stephen knew who the person was, he must have already gotten revenge. After all, he was the young master of the Quinns. Who could stop him from seeking revenge?
However, the next second, Stephen simply sighed. “I’ve never won.
His friends were stunned.
‘Never won‘ and ‘didn’t win‘ were two different things. ‘Didn’t win‘ meant–losing only once, but ‘never won‘ meant losing constantly!
Their hearts were filled with questions. Who was that ruthless person who could make Stephen lose consistently?

“Is he also from Metropolis?”
They had all grown up in Metropolis, but they did not know anyone that formidable there.
Stephen said, “He’s a local from Riveria.”
