Nico watched as George and Julius left Stone Village. After they disappeared from his sight, his expression immediately turned grim.

Nico and Tommy could not agree with each other, and Tommy was now being held in Stone Village. What would happen if he released Tommy now and led him to the mayor? Nico would only end up dead!

He took out his phone and dialed Julius‘ number. The call was soon connected.
“Who is this?”
“It’s me, Nico.”
Julius fell silent. He was wondering why Nico was suddenly calling him. Nico did not speak for some time either.
“Why did you call me?” Julius broke the silence.
“I know what you’ve been investigating recently.”
Julius frowned. “What do you mean?”
He was only investigating whether Stone Village was indeed a hero village recently. Had Nico noticed it already?
“I think there is a misunderstanding between us. Why don’t we meet up somewhere?” Nico suggested, “Let’s meet at the abandoned factory three miles before Stone Village. What do
you think?”
Julius thought about it and agreed. “Give me a time.”
“Ten o’clock.”
After that, the call ended.
“He knows what I’m investigating, yet he still wants to meet me. Could it be that he’s innocent? Or does he want to get rid of me?”
After some thought, Julius dismissed the possibility of the second option. If Nico hurt him, things would not end well for Nico as well.
Julius looked at the time. Seeing it was almost 10 p.m., he quickly set out for the factory Nico had mentioned.
Nico, on the other hand, did not head to the factory. Instead, he took another phone and contacted George from his house.
“I’m Stone Village’s chief. I’d like to report something.”
Once George picked up the call, Nico pretended to say agitatedly, “It’s related to the mayor.”
