Stephen looked at him and said, “Give me your phone.”
Adam paused. He looked at his assistant and shivered when he saw the assistant’s pale face.

“How long has she been dead?”
“She went on a hunger strike the day you came back to Aqua City. She passed away eight days ago.”

The people around stared at him with wide eyes. Why was he reacting so intensely?
“Why’s he so upset that Snow committed suicide?”

He took out his phone and booked a flight, then took a car straight to the airport.
Along the way, he called Simon.
The call connected quickly. Simon placed the phone by his ear but did not hear any sound for a long time.

“Why did you hide it from me?”
