Back at the federal headquarters, Simon shared the latest updates about Aqua City with everyone in the meeting.
“Did Stephen come up with all those plans?”
“Simon, were they your ideas?”
“Not only is he juggling the tourism and industrial factories well, but he even seized the opportunity to capitalize on the sports games. What an impressive job!”
Everyone was surprised that Stephen did such a good job, and seeing his colleagues praising his son, Simon felt proud.
He chuckled. “I’m not part of this. He did it all on his own. His previous failures have taught him a lot, and he has grown more mature.”
Everyone nodded.
“Yeah. He’s more mature now.”
“His plans are well thought out. Everything will go smoothly for Aqua City this time!”
“I have to say that he’s stepping up and becoming as good as Ethan, even surpassing the latter in a certain aspect.
“Replacing Ethan was the best choice we made.”
“Someone used to say without Ethan, Riveria would be over. But with Stephen taking charge, I don’t see that happening. Riveria’s economy will skyrocket soon!”
Stephen’s efforts were highly regarded this time.
If Stephen continued to fail, it would only embarrass them, so when the young man finally showed some good progress, they felt happy for him too.
Once Aqua City’s economy rose to the next level, no one would laugh at Stephen anymore. He would prove everyone wrong, including Ethan. He would show Ethan that Riveria could go on without him and perhaps do even better.
Simon smiled. He could imagine Ethan’s future, rotting in the mountains with no freedom or wealth. Ethan must regret not helping them, but it was too late for that now.
“I can’t wait to see how Aqua City transforms within a month.”
“The city’s changes will surely wow the entire country.”
Simon added with a smile, “We might even gain global recognition! Having a stadium on the water is a huge deal internationally, and it can show off our construction capabilities.”

They looked forward to the opening ceremony of the sports games in a month.

He believed him being engaged to Rachel and having a new woman by his side would make Ethan jealous of him. He looked forward to their next meeting.

workers.
The loud construction noise sounded like a melodious hymn in Stephen’s ears. It was proof that Aqua City was moving forward.
