“No way!” Suzy’s concern for Elliot’s health made her adamant. “I’m going with you.”
“But…”
“That’s an order!”
“Alright, fine. I’ll book the tickets now. Let’s meet at the airport,” Elliot replied, sighing in defeat.
After hanging up, Elliot immediately called Simon. “Bro, where are you?”
“What’s going on? You sound urgent,” Simon asked, his worry evident.
“Dylan is back, and he brought someone with him. I think he’s trying to use this person to reconcile with my mentor.“–
“Who did he bring?“,
“A young woman,” Elliot replied.
“A young woman?” Simon paused, thinking. “That’s probably his sister. My sister has always been particularly fond of his sister. Even when they were sisters–in–law, their relationship was closer than most siblings.
“He must’ve realized Suzy won’t acknowledge him, so he’s brought his sister as a last resort. I/ thought he’d given up, but clearly, he’s ready to fight us to the bitter end.”
“So, it’s his sister!” Elliot narrowed his eyes. “I already called my mentor and told her there’s trouble with the gang. I said I had to go back, and she insisted on coming with me. So, I’ll need you to stall Dylan for a while.”
Simon let out a low chuckle. “You may be young, but you’ve got plenty of tricks up your Still, let me warn you–this better be the last time you lie to my sister.

Elliot felt a pang of guilt. “I understand, bro. I promise I’ll never lie to her again.”
If the situation hadn’t been so urgent, he wouldn’t have resorted to deception in the first place.
After finishing his call with Simon, Elliot headed downstairs.
Instead of leaving through the main door, he slipped out the back. It wasn’t the time to get entangled with Dylan any further.
At the airport, he had only waited a few minutes before Suzy arrived. “What happened that’s got you in such a rush?”

“It’s an old enemy,” Elliot said, pressing his lips into a thin line. “They caused trouble while I was away and injured a few of our men.
“Now that I’ve regained my memory, this really isn’t my responsibility anymore, considering I’m not actually Drake. But after three years together, those men fought alongside me through thick and thin. Especially the ones closest to me they treated me well. I can’t just stand by and do nothing.”
Suzy patted him on the shoulder. “Standing up for loyalty–I taught you well!”
Elliot felt a twinge of guilt. He could only hope to board the plane quickly before anything gave him away.
To keep up the charade, he had already arranged for a few people to create some convincing distractions. Hopefully, it would hold up. After all, his mentor was far too clever–it was almost impossible to fool her.
Finally, boarding time arrived. Elliot turned to Suzy. “Mentor, it’s time to board.”
She nodded. “Let’s go.”
The two walked toward the gate, ready to check in. Just as they reached the counter, a voice called out behind them, “Sis, where are you going?”
Suzy turned, surprised and delighted to see Diana “Diana! What are you doing here?”
