But before anyone could lay a hand on her, Suzy swiftly took them all down with ease. The butler stumbled back in terror, his chubby face pale with fear. “W–Who are you?” “Bring Maya Whitmore here!” Suzy repeated coldly. “Now. Immediately.”
Overwhelmed by her powerful presence, the butler didn’t dare argue. He hurriedly sent someone to fetch Maya.
About twenty minutes later, Maya finally arrived, taking her time as though she were in complete control.
She was, as expected, a very young woman. Her face still held traces of innocence, but her sharp gaze betrayed an unyielding arrogance. Standing across from Suzy, she exuded a cold demeanor that rivaled Suzy’s own.
“You wanted to see me?” Maya asked, her tone icy.
