“Alright,” Suzy whispered. “I’ll do it now.”
But just as Charlotte’s anticipation reached its peak, Suzy suddenly stood up, turning the gun and pressing the barrel directly against Charlotte’s forehead.

“You’re not hypnotized?” Charlotte’s excitement turned to shock.
She had been so certain her hypnosis had worked, but clearly, it hadn’t.
Suzy’s expression remained cold, devoid of emotion. “Hypnosis only works if I allow it. No matter how strong your tricks are, they’re powerless against me unless I choose to give in.”
She cocked the gun, her voice steady and icy. “The one who deserves to burn in hell is you. And I’m sending you there right now.”
Charlotte’s expression didn’t waver in the slightest. “Is that so? Let’s see if your aim is as good as you think it is.”
Just as Suzy was about to pull the trigger, Charlotte suddenly stomped on the lifeless woman lying on the ground, trying to divert Suzy’s attention.
If it had been anyone else, Suzy wouldn’t have fallen for such a cheap trick. But this was her mother. She couldn’t ignore it, no matter what.
