Chapter 0313
Before the man could respond, Yara, who had been untied by Suzy during Dylan and Hawk’s relentless assault, suddenly rushed forward.
Grabbing the man by his hair, she yanked him upright, her eyes blazing with hatred. “My parents were nothing like what you said! They never did any of those things! We were at happy family, and you destroyed everything!”
Consumed by rage, Yara began trembling uncontrollably. In a sudden burst of fury, she snatched the gun from Suzy’s hand and pointed it at the man’s chest.
“I hate you! Go to hell!” she screamed before pulling the trigger.
The gunshot echoed sharply, and the man collapsed as the bullet pierced his heart.
He died instantly.
Yara’s actions were so swift that even Suzy was momentarily stunned. She had hoped to extract valuable information from him, but now, with his death, all their efforts had gone to wast
Realizing this, Suzy’s gaze shifted to Yara, her expression subtly changing.
Yara, who had just shot a man, seemed to finally register what she had done. She stared at Suzy in panic. “I… I killed someone. Suzy, I killed someone…”
Her eyes dropped to the gun in her hands, and she flung it away as if it burned her. Wrapping her arms around her head, she broke down. “I just hated him so much. He killed. my parents and did those horrible things to me…”
Her voice grew incoherent as tears streamed down her face, and suddenly, she collapsed
unconscious.
Dylan and Hawk exchanged glances over Yara’s limp form, their expressions a mix of
emotions.
Yara remained unconscious for an entire day before finally waking up. But her mental state was visibly shattered.
From the moment her eyes opened, she began muttering, “I killed him. I killed him…”
Her voice was monotonous, like a broken record stuck on repeat.
No matter how much Suzy tried to comfort or guide her, it was no use. Her eyes were unfocused, staring into nothingness.
The trauma she had suffered was clearly too great, pushing her into a state of mental

breakdown.
For a condition like this, the most effective treatment was psychological counseling and
therapy.
Suzy used hypnotherapy on Yara, and the results were immediately noticeable. After the first session, Yara stopped repeating the same phrase over and over, and her emotions. became much more stable.
However, she was still too scared to sleep alone at night. She clung to Suzy, pleading,” Suzy, can you stay with me tonight? Please?
“Every time I close my eyes, all I see is the moment I shot him. I can’t stop myself from thinking about it, especially knowing I’ll have to face legal consequences for what I’ve
done.
“I know I killed him, and I should take responsibility. But he murdered my parents. If I don’t avenge them, I don’t deserve to call myself their daughter!”
“That’s enough,” Suzy interrupted, her tone firm but gentle. “I’ll stay with you tonight.”
“Thank you, Suzy!” Yara said, tears in her eyes.
For the next few days, Yara’s emotional state improved steadily, but nights remained a challenge. She couldn’t fall asleep unless Suzy stayed with her, and without that, nightmares would wake her.
Suzy, out of concern, stayed by her side every night.
Yara grew increasingly dependent on her. If Suzy was home, Yara wouldn’t leave her side, and she even tried to follow her to work. Seeing how fragile she was, Suzy did her best to accommodate her, keeping her company as much as possible.
It was clear to anyone paying attention just how much Suzy cared for Yara.
However, Dylan had his concerns. During a chance encounter at a gala, he brought it up directly.
“You might want to keep a little distance from Yara.”
At the time, Suzy was standing alone on the balcony, letting the cool breeze wash over her.
