Dylan had the pendant replicated based on Annie’s sketch and then issued a public bounty.
“Anyone who can provide valid information about the original pendant will receive a cash. reward of four million dollars!”
When Hawk saw the announcement, a sense of urgency surged within him. “It looks like Dylan is determined to track down that woman this time.”
He immediately instructed his subordinates, “Under no circumstances can Suzy find out that Dylan is looking for her!”
He had underestimated Anne. Not only had she drawn the pendant, but her sketch was nearly identical to the original.
And now Dylan’s custom replica was so convincing it could easily pass for the real thing.
Hawk knew better than anyone how important that pendant was to Suzy. If she saw the replica, she’d undoubtedly go to Dylan for answers.

“Yes!” Diana’s anger was palpable. “For the past three years, she’s been pretending to be his savior, making your life miserable. She didn’t hesitate to take advantage of her fake title, and she was insufferable around me too! If she had actually saved him, I could accept it. But to find out she’s a complete fraud
“Well, at least my brother knows the truth now, and he’s searching everywhere for his real savior.”

Diana chuckled. “He’s not searching for her to pledge himself to another woman. He just wants to know who saved him back then. These days, the,only person he loves is you. How could he possibly devote himself to anyone else?”
Realizing she’d said too much, Diana quickly backtracked. “Sis, I didn’t mean anything by that. It just slipped out. Please don’t overthink!”
Diana didn’t want to put any pressure on Suzy,
Suzy smiled lightly. “Say whatever’s on your mind. I’m not that sensitive.”
“Still, I worry you might think I’m trying to push you and my brother together,” Diana said softly. “I’m not anymore. I just want you to be happy.”

The two chatted a little longer, and just as the call was about to end, Diana muttered, ” Honestly, I’m curious about what the owner of that hawk–shaped pendant looks like. After all, that night was my brother’s first time!”
“What did you just say?”
Diana cleared her throat, a hint of awkwardness in her voice. “Well… my brother was drugged that night. That’s the only reason he ended up sleeping with a stranger. Knowing him, someone as meticulous as he is would never have done something like that unless he had no other choice.”

Diana started to panic. Women, after all, could be just as possessive as men. She hadn’t meant to stir anything up; it had just slipped out.
