At the gates of Bayview Heights, Dylan had just stepped out of his car when Anne blocked his path.

Dylan’s eyes darkened dangerously as he grabbed her chin, his grip firm and unyielding. His gaze, sharp as a hawk’s, bore into hers as he spoke, enunciating each word with precision. “The wedding is off.”

Watching him disappear into the distance, Anne clenched her fists in fury.

Suzy had just finished treating Charlotte and was stepping out of the house.

“So, you’re not talking?” Suzy’s voice turned icy as her eyes narrowed. “If you’d told me. what I want to know, I might’ve let you live out the rest of your days in peace, for Claude’s sake. But since you’ve chosen otherwise, don’t blame me for what happens next.
Matthew let out a cold laugh. “Save that speech for yourself! If you hadn’t pushed things so far, I might have spared you, out of respect for your father. But you left yourself no way out!
With that, he thrust the knife toward her without hesitation.
Suzy sidestepped effortlessly, but before she could react, Julian suddenly appeared from nowhere. With a knife of his own, he aimed straight for her back in a swift, merciless strike.
