Chapter 0194
Eager to hear what Allen had uncovered, Suzy found Dylan’s refusal to leave particularly irritating. “And what does it matter to you who he is?”
Allen chimed in, “The boss is right. Who do you think you are? Why should we explain our relationship to you?”
Judging from her reaction, it seemed less like she was rekindling an old flame and more like Dylan was purposely pestering her. If that was the case, Allen had even less reason to hold back.
Dylan only smirked instead of getting angry. “Since you don’t know who I am, let me introduce myself, I’m Dylan Wright, Suzy’s-”
“No need,” Suzy cut in, clearly losing patience. “He knows who you are.”
Dylan’s smile faded. This man already knew him? That meant he was important enough to Suzy for her to reveal his identity. First Claude, then Allen–and now this guy? Judging by their interaction, it was clear this wasn’t their first time together.
Seeing Dylan’s expression darken, Allen seized the moment to twist the knife. Taking Suzy’s arm, he said, “Boss, I can’t wait any longer. If he’s not leaving, why don’t we take this to another room?”
Suzy cast Dylan a quick, indifferent glance and let Allen lead her out.
Dylan frowned, his brows knit in frustration.
Striding forward, he grabbed her other wrist. “You’re not going anywhere!”
Suzy laughed at his audacity. “Not going? Dylan, have you forgotten who you are? To me, you’re just an ex–husband. What right do you have to tell me what to do?”
His behavior was completely absurd!
Allen threw fuel on the fire, saying, “Exactly, just an ex. Don’t think too highly of yourself! Now let go–time is precious, and you’re wasting ours.”
Suzy was left speechless.
“Time is precious?”
Honestly, if he didn’t know how to use idioms properly, he really shouldn’t be trying them
out at all!
Suzy hadn’t initially noticed Allen’s strange behavior, but if she missed it now, she’d truly be blind. Still, she chose not to expose him or offer any explanation to Dylan; instead, she played along. “Don’t waste time talking to him. Let’s go!”

Chapter 0194
If Dylan wanted to misunderstand, so be it she couldn’t care less what he thought of her.
With a firm tug, she pulled Allen out of the room, slipping free of Dylan’s grasp. To prevent him from following, she turned and locked the door from the outside.
Dylan was left speechless..
She actually locked him in the room to go off with her “boy toy“? Unbelievable.
Staring at the closed door, he let out a cold smile, though his eyes were like ice. “Suzy, who exactly gave you the nerve?”
He took a few steps back, then drove his leg straight into the door. Whatever force he used was enough to send the titanium–reinforced door crashing to the ground with a thunderous sound.
The sudden noise sent a jolt through Suzy and Allen, who had just reached the bottom of the stairs.
Especially Allen, whose back prickled as he watched Dylan descend from the second floor with a dark, intimidating aura.
When Dylan was truly angry… he was actually a bit frightening.
Before Allen could fully process the thought, Dylan was in front of them, expressionless as he addressed him. “Are you leaving on your own, or should I have someone throw you out?”
Allen started to reply, but Suzy quickly pulled him aside. “What right do you have to kick him out?”
In an instant, Dylan’s hand shot out, gripping her chin, his face mere inches from hers as he growled, “Because I’m in love with you!”
