Riley stared at Suzy without blinking. “Is that the only reason?”
Suzy raised an eyebrow. “What else would it be? I’m not as pathetic as you
think.”

Meanwhile, in the car, Dylan and Diana wasted no time checking the contents of the flash. drive.

“How could that happen?” Diana asked, bewildered, “The owner personally handed it to us. Could she know Suzy? That doesn’t make any sense. Suzy’s an orphan, and the owner of a place like Gold Eagle Heights must be well–connected. There’s no way they’d know
each other.”
His eyes deepened as he turned to Diana. “Is the car ready?”

“Yeah.”
He opened the door, signaling for her to get out “You head home.”
“And what about you?” Diana’s eyes widened. Are you going back to the office, or off to be with that slut Anne?
“Dylan, you saw how Suzy was acting. She’s avoiding you. In the past three years, no matter what you did, she never acted like this. She’s clearly heartbroken this time. I don’t know what you did to push her away, but I’m telling you, you better find her soon.
“You know how much Grandma loves her. If she comes back and doesn’t see Suzy, not only will she be furious with you, but she’ll also be heartbroken. Mom and Dad passed away early, and Grandipa raised us on her own.
“It hasn’t been easy for her. She’s almost eighty now, and her health is deteriorating. Please don’t do anything that would upset her,” Diana pleaded.
Dylan’s response was cold and brief. “Failing your exams… that would make her happy?”
“You’re one to talk!” Diana huffed. “Ever since I found out Suzy was missing, I couldn’t think of anything else. How was I supposed to focus on my exam…”
Before Diana could finish, Dylan signaled the driver, and the black luxurious car sped off, leaving her standing there.
Watching the car vanish in a cloud of dust, Diana stamped her foot in frustration. “Dylan, you’ll regret this! I can’t wait to see you crawling back, begging to win her over!”
The black luxurious car raced down the road, and Dylan lit a cigarette, taking a long drag before turning to Desmond in the passenger seat. “Did you look into the owner of Gold Eagle Heights?”
“Yeah, I did,” Desmond replied, quickly pulling up Riley’s profile on his phone and handing it to Dylan.
The report showed that Riley had no apparent connection to Red Falcon or Suzy. Whether or not she was linked to Red Falcon was still uncertain, but as for Suzy…
Dylan’s eyes gleamed with a dangerous intensity. “Have someone keep a close watch on her.”
