Chapter 0010
Dylan typically wouldn’t attend most invitations in person, but when it came to the Harlow family, he had to show some respect.
The moment he stepped into the Harlow estate, a figure that looked strikingly similar to Suzy caught his eye.
Almost instinctively, he chased after her.
But the woman was sharp–she slipped away from him within minutes.
That level of alertness didn’t seem like Suzy.
She wasn’t usually so quick on her feet; in fact, she could be a bit absentminded at times.
Had he been mistaken again?
It didn’t seem likely.
Suzy was an orphan with no family ties–how could she possibly have connections to the Harlow family?
The woman from earlier clearly knew the estate well.
It looked like he had been wrong. Again.
Just like that day outside the airport.
How could it be that there were so many women with a similar silhouette to Suzy?
Even Red Falcon had resembled her from behind.
Or was it just that women tended to look the same from the back?
Dylan stood there for a long time before finally tearing his gaze away and leaving.
From her hiding spot, Suzy watched him walk off before slowly stepping out from the shadows.
“Why do I keep running into him everywhere?” she muttered,
She hadn’t realized how intertwined their paths were until now.
Thankfully, she was well–acquainted with the Harlow estate. If not, she might not have shaken him so easily.
It seemed from now on, she’d have to check his whereabouts before going anywhere to avoid this happening again.
This place was no longer safe.
Chapter 0010
வ
After leaving the Harlow estate, Suzy didn’t rush home.
Instead, she sought out someone to dig deeper into the Harlow family’s affairs.
Claude was clearly hiding something from her, likely to keep her from worrying.
She could ignore everyone else, but when it came to Claude, she couldn’t just turn a blind
eye.
It didn’t take long before word came in–there were rumors the Harlow family was about to undergo a change in leadership.
No wonder Claude said things would only get worse from here.
At present, Claude’s father, Matthew Harlow, was still the head of the family, but Claude wasn’t his only son.
Matthew had three sons, with Claude being the second eldest. When Claude was around thirteen, he and his younger brother were involved in a tragic accident.
His brother died on the spot, and Claude had been left crippled ever since.
After the accident, rumors began circulating–no one knew where they started, but they were vicious. People said that Claude had been jealous of his parents‘ affection for his younger brother and that he had deliberately caused the accident.
His parents believed the rumors, and from that day on, their love turned to hatred.
But the truth was that the real culprit was Matthew’s eldest son, Julian Harlow.
Julian had been ruthlessly ambitious from a young age, willing to go to any lengths to achieve his goals, even if it meant harming his own siblings.
Over the years, even though Claude posed no real threat to him, Julian had continued looking for ways to eliminate him completely.
Recent investigations revealed that Matthew was planning to retire.
If Julian took control of the Harlow family, things would only get worse for Claude.
Logically, this was a family matter, and Suzy, as an outsider, had no reason to get involved.
But she couldn’t just stand by and watch.
For years, Claude clung to the idea of brotherhood, always stepping aside, while others took his kindness for weakness.
“Julian Harlow…”
Standing by the floor–to–ceiling window of her hotel suite, Suzy crossed her arms, surveying the city below like a queen. “You’re not fit to sit at the head of the Harlow family.

She pulled out her phone and called Allen.
“Contact Dylan. Tell him I’m ready to take on that job.”
“…Didn’t you say you wanted to see Anne squirm like a dog in heat when the poison kicks in?”
