Bella packed up her things and headed to the hospital, her sole focus being the care of her uncle. Upon arrival, her friend Layla provided her with new information regarding a werewolf reality show called Take Me Out” and “The Bachelor” for humans.
The show featured 25 werewolf women who wore masks on stage and discussed their interests, personalities, beliefs, and views on love, marriage, and family. The male guest, Alpha Xavier, possessed the authority to eliminate contestants based on their statements.
Finding a mate was of little concern to Bella, hence she deemed the show an easy way to make money without the need to reveal her true intentions. She called Layla to convey her review of the information.
“Is it truly an effortless way to earn money?” Layla inquired.
“It appears promising,” Bella replied.
“Not just promising, it’s outstanding. You’d regret passing up this opportunity. The first episode will bring you earnings, and if the show gains popularity, the potential for even greater income exists. Trust me, the sponsors I have secured are top–notch companies. And guess what? Alpha Xavier himself has agreed to sponsor the show. You’ve known him for years, Bella. You are aware that any venture he supports is bound for
success.”
Layla’s point resonated within Bella. Alpha Xavier possessed a reputation for selecting profitable endeavors. However, Bella harbored no desire to be involved with him. Observing Bella’s hesitation, Layla assured, “Do not fret, Bella. Alpha Xavier will not have time for a show like this.”
Layla’s remark held merit. Failing to seize this opportunity would be wasteful, particularly considering Bella’s need for money. Determined, Bella made her decision. “Layla, I am going to participate in this show!”
Delighted but surprised, Layla replied, “That’s fantastic! Come tomorrow and sign the contract.”
The following morning, Bella hastened to the TV station and signed the contract for the werewolf reality show. The initial episode comprised 20 rounds, and if all went well, Bella stood to earn a substantial sum of money. She hoped it would assist in covering her uncle’s medical expenses. Nonetheless, her quest to find a kidney donor for her uncle persisted, an arduous task.
Bella’s uncle’s condition worsened rapidly, as informed by his doctor. Time was of the essence in their search for a willing donor. Yet, Bella found herself at a loss on where to begin.
Lost in thought, Bella wandered back to the hospital entrance and unintentionally collided with Alpha Carl Trevor. Catching sight of her, he smiled and approached.
“Bella, why are you here? Are you alright?” he inquired.
“Why do you care?” Bella retorted coolly.
