Preparing for a shower and then bed, she suddenly realized she had brought no change of clothes or toiletries. Tom, she decided to go out and buy some essentials
Just as she was leaving, Orion opened the door, looking down at her, “Where are you going this late?”
Lemira felt like she was caught red–handed by a parent
“I need to buy some toiletries and pajamas,” she immediately replied.
Orion’s expression froze for a moment before he closed the door, “Let’s go.” He had no experience caring for kids and hadn’t thought this through.”
Most shops were closed by then.
Lemira ended up only buying toiletries, pajamas and slippers were nowhere to be found.
Orion, expressionless, was not in the best of moods. Back at the apartment, he immediately called Thaddeus, “What’s with the apartment you arranged? Why are there no essentials?”
“Man, you gave me half an hour to sort that place out. Didn’t have time for essentials. And going bonding moment for you two.”
Orion was used to being taken care of. He rarely bothered with these kinds of details.

Onion gritted his teeth, “You can shut up now”
He hung up directly, feeling a bit embarrassed as he glanced at the wardrobe. Orion grabbed a pair of his own slippers and a clean men’s shirt, and then knocked on the neighboring door.
After a while, a soft voice from inside said, “Coming”
Lemira opened the door her hair still damp, dripping water down her clothes
