Thad raised an eyebrow, “It’s strategy, don’t you get it?”
Lemira smiled, “I said it on purpose because I know him. He won’t take responsibility.”

Matthew clearly didn’t get it, “But why not just sue them or give them a good thrashing!”
“Lemon intentionally guilt–tripped them, let them taste their own medicine!”
Lemira nodded, “Exactly.”
Seeing their false masks torn away made her feel victorious.
This was her revenge.

Lemira handed the trophy back to Matthew, “Thanks for lending me your trophy, really came in handy.”
“Bro, look at my trophy, isn’t it awesome?”
Matthew grabbed the trophy, tossing it to Orion without thinking.
Orion caught it and then threw it to Thad, as if the trophy was a hot potato.
Thad caught on fast, “Not bad, Matt. Keep it up and you’ll do even better next time!”
Matthew glanced at Lemira, “But next year, I’ll be competing against my sister–in–law. Feel free to cheer for her!”
Lemira froze. Matthew called her sister–in–law?
Orion, hearing the term “sister–in–law,” his tone turned sharp, “Matthew, what are you talking about?”
Realizing his slip–up, Matthew hurriedly backtracked, “You guys aren’t together yet?”
Opon’s expression grew tense.
Thad stepped forward, covering Matthew’s mouth, “Stop talking.”
