After Lemira heard it, it felt like a heavy accusation was being thrown at her.

Lemira responded, her voice cold, “It was Evelina and Alaric who stole my idea, and you allowed it, leading to your loss in the bid. I didn’t force your hand. Had any of you intervened, none of this would have happened. But you didn’t. So, you’re just reaping what you sowed!”
She wasn’t going to let these words manipulate her.
She didn’t owe them anything.
Asher was momentarily speechless, Lemira’s clear logic making him falter!
He finally said, “You’ve become quite sharp–tongued. But at the end of the day, Lucian doesn’t owe you anything!”
“But the ruin of his project is on you, not me. Don’t try to morally blackmail me!”

But Asher’s calls kept coming, only for her to hang up and then block him.

Lemira took a couple of days off, deciding it’s time to hit the gym again. She texted her trainer to book a session.
But as Lemira was leaving the team base, ready for the gym, Dorian swaggered in.
The arrival of someone from the Business School made everyone tense, especially considering the past feud between Lemira and Susanna, which ended with a public apology from Susanna. Since then, no one had bothered Lemira.

Lemira eyed Dorian coolly, “Oh, you want to join the team?”
“I’m here to discuss something about Eve,” Dorian said.
“None of my business!”
Lemira tried to walk past, but Dorian followed, “Look, Eve just made a small mistake. You don’t have to take it to court, right?”
He was quite fond of Evelina; she was gentle and obedient.
“Lemira, if you drop the lawsuit, consider it a favor you can call on from me someday.”

Lemira pointed at her own head, walking towards the crowd with an expressionless face and a chilling gaze.
Dorian backed away, alarmed, “You’re crazy.”
No wonder Susanna apologized. Lemira was unpredictable!
