I unexpectedly died during a difficult childbirth, and to my surprise, I woke up to find myself reborn

On the first day I came back, I discovered that my precious daughter, whom I had sacrificed everything for, was being bullied by my husband’s so–called first love and her daughter.
And my husband became obsessed with Meditation, ignoring worldly matters.

I struggled to open my eyes and found myself standing next to my former high school.
On the side of the road, a few pedestrians could be sporadically seen, occasionally someone noticed my blank expression, and cast doubtful glances at me.
Ten minutes later, I looked up at the sky and had to face a fact.
I traveled to 15 years later.
After thinking for a while, I approached a passerby and borrowed their phone. I dialed the number of my late husband, Remington Maxwell.
After a few busy tones, the phone was answered.
“Hello, what’s the matter?”
A familiar male voice came through the phone, still as pleasant as before, just with a bit more magnetism and maturity than before.
My nose tingled and I couldn’t help but sound a bit teary as I said, “Remington, I’m Kassidy. I know this is hard to believe, but I might have… traveled through time? Anyway, I’m here on our high first?” school side now. Can you come pick me up
There was a long silence on the other end of the phone.
Just as I was about to say something to ease the tension.
The man on the phone suddenly chuckled, his voice tinged with sarcasm. “I don’t know where you got my phone number from, but tell the person behind you to come up with more clever tricks next time. Just imitating a voice and daring to show off in front of me, is it disgusting or what? Have some shame, will you?”

I was startled by Remington’s harsh scolding, and my fingers froze. Then, uncontrollable anger surged up, regardless of the current situation. The person over there choked up.

She looked at me curiously, as if she knew Remington.

“What, though?” I asked.
The passerby paused and continued, “Actually, I heard it as a rumor.
