Chapter 10: Don’t Leave Me
Jonah felt like his heart was being squeezed, making it nearly impossible to breathe,
“There was blood all over the walls, a disgusting smell from the pile of garbage, torn clothes scattered everywhere, and clumps of her golden hair. She loved looking beautiful, but she died in such a pitiful state. She must have been in so much pain.”
“Jonah, you won.”
“In the next life, she won’t have to meet you again.”
With that, Colin hung up the phone. He gently placed it down, holding Sabrina’s ashes in his
arms.
Jonah felt like he was losing his mind. He couldn’t reach Sabrina’s phone anymore. Breaking free from Molly’s restraining hands, he ran out of the villa.
He had to find Sabrina.
The black Cayenne sped into traffic, and Jonah, like a frantic fly, didn’t know where to look
for her.
He swerved recklessly through the streets until he suddenly remembered the place where
he and Sabrina had promised to grow old together. He turned the car in that direction, driving as fast as he could.
When he finally arrived at the southern part of the city, Jonah stumbled out of the car, immediately spotting Colin sitting there.
Colin was holding a handful of ashes, slowly letting them scatter into the sea, merging with
the wind and becoming one with the air.
Jonah’s eyes widened in horror, and he stumbled forward. Colin noticed his arrival but
didn’t stop what he was doing.
“Stop! No!”
Jonah shouted, trying to stop Colin’s actions.

But the wind was too strong. Colin murmured to himself, “Sabrina said this was her favorne place. Jonah, let her go.”
“No, don’t…”
Jonah frantically grabbed for Sabrina’s urn, but it was already empty,
He clawed at the air, trying to hold on to her remains, but the wind slipped through his fingers, taking everything away.
He hadn’t even seen Sabrina one last time, and now he couldn’t even keep her ashes.
Jonah was frantic. He had lost Sabrina–lost her forever.
He couldn’t accept this reality. Colin watched the deranged man with cold eyes.
“She’s dead. Who are you putting on this act for?”
“I warned her countless times that you are ruthless, but she didn’t listen to me. Now, she’s lost her life because she loved you!”
“Jonah, why wasn’t it you who died?” Colin’s voice dripped with venom, filled with the desire to kill Jonah on the spot to avenge Sabrina.
Jonah, still desperately trying to hold on to Sabrina’s ashes, began to slow down as he heard
Colin’s words.
He watched in horror as Colin threw the empty urn into the sea.
“No!”
Jonah lunged after it, but the urn disappeared into the waves.
In that moment, he didn’t think of anything else.
“Someone’s in the water! Help!”
A voice from the shore called out as they saw him and alerted the authorities.
In his daze, Jonah thought he heard Sabrina calling out to him. He opened his arms in the
