Chapter 17
Just as I was about to close my phone, the screen lit up again and a new message popped up.
It was sent by Charlie.
“Grace, are you okay? If there’s anything you need help with, please let me know.”
I stared at the screen, slightly stunned, and it took me quite a while to realize.
He must have seen the Instagram post I just made about Antonio cheating.
That Instagram post has caused quite a stir, with almost everyone in the circle discussing it.
I was mentioned too many times, so I had no choice but to block and not read them.
I hesitated for a moment, tapping my fingers lightly on the screen, and replied, “It’s okay, I had already prepared for a divorce, so there’s no need for you to worry.”
After sending this message, I felt a bit complicated in my heart.
Our current relationship is not the same as before, and I didn’t want to involve him in all these messy things.
After all, he has his own life now, there is no need for him to worry about me.
Chapter 17
The dialogue box above constantly displayed “The other party is typing,” but after a while, he finally sent a short sentence. “Okay.””
I looked at those two words, feeling indescribable in my heart.
Charlie was always a man of few words, but in the past, whenever I needed help, he was always the first one to step forward.
Although he didn’t say much this time, I knew that he truly cared about me.
I sighed, put down my phone, and started packing my luggage, getting ready to go back to Northdale.
Before returning to Northdale, I accompanied my parents on a shopping trip and bought them many things.
The next day.
My parents woke up early and took me to the airport.
I waved goodbye to them and boarded the plane.
From the moment I made the decision to get divorced, I had already reached out to a friend I knew and they helped me find a suitable house.
After all, things had reached this point, and Antonio and I could no longer continue living under the same roof.
I didn’t want to see him anymore, nor did I want to be bound by this failed marriage.
So, I decided to go back directly and pack my belongings, in order to move out of this former home as soon as possible.

11 Rouchers
Just as I arrived at the doorstep, I was about to take out my keys when the door suddenly opened from the inside.
Antonio appeared before me, looking haggard. His face was pale, with sunken eye sockets, and his eyes were filled with exhaustion and anxiety.
His hair was a bit messy, and his shirt was also wrinkled, obviously indicating that he hadn’t been doing well these past few days.
“Honey, you finally came back. I thought you wouldn’t come back.”
Antonio’s voice was extremely hoarse, with a hint of pleading in his tone.
“I did not agree with the divorce.”
I looked at him coldly, without a trace of emotion in my heart.
His pretentious and affectionate appearance might have deceived unsuspecting individuals.
Who would have thought that the man I once deeply loved could have an affair for five hundred days within our marriage, and even make that woman pregnant.
Looking at him now, I only felt disgusted.
“Antonio, I was not coming to ask for your opinion.”
I took out a document from my bag and handed it to him.
“This is the divorce agreement that I drafted after consulting with my lawyer.”

“Take a look, and if there are no issues, just sign it.”
“I didn’t want to waste so much time on you anymore.”
Antonio didn’t even look at it, he directly took the agreement and tore it into pieces.
The pieces of paper floated in the air, just like our fragmented and broken marriage.
The next second, he suddenly rushed forward and grabbed me tightly, his strength so strong as if he wanted to squeeze me into his body.
“No, I absolutely did not get divorced.”
His voice trembled, with a hint of pleading.
