Seeing Dylan, George’s initial panic subsided significantly. He sneered, “Well, if it isn’t Mr. Wright himself! Here to help your ex–wife, I assume? I wonder if she’ll even appreciate it, considering how much I’ve heard she can’t stand you-”
Smack!
Before George could finish his sentence, Desmond’s hand landed hard across his face. “Watch your mouth, or I won’t mind helping you clean it up.”
Desmond’s slap carried such force that George nearly lost a tooth. Clutching his face, he glared furiously. “You better remember that you need something from me. Lay another finger on me, and I swear I’ll never tell you where Suzy’s father is!”
“Oh, is that so?” Desmond’s lips curled into a wicked smirk. “So, if we treat you nicely, you’ll cooperate?”
George’s eyes flickered for a moment. “That depends on your sincerity.”
Desmond nodded, then without warning, delivered a powerful kick straight to George’s chest. The impact sent him flying, and he coughed up a mouthful of blood. This time, the blow was far more severe than the slap, leaving him pale and trembling in pain.
“You… you-” George stammered, clutching his chest in fury and fear.
Desmond slowly approached him, his expression calm yet menacing. “What? Still think our sincerity isn’t enough? Fine, let me give you some more.”
As Desmond raised his foot again, genuine fear finally appeared on George’s face. He clutched his chest and scrambled back. “Only I know where that old man is! If I die, he won’t survive much longer either!”
Desmond acted as if he hadn’t heard a word, continuing to close the distance until George was cornered against the wall. Grabbing George by the collar, he hauled him up effortlessly. George, sometimes it’s best not to think too highly of yourself, or you might not even get the chance to regret it.”
George swallowed hard, fear etched across his face. “Do you really think you’ll find him if I die? Without me, he’ll stay hidden forever!”
Desmond gave him a cold smile. “Didn’t Mrs. Wright already say? Worst–case scenario, we’ll tear the whole planet apart if we have to.” He patted George’s cheek lightly. “With my boss and Mrs. Wright working together, flipping the world upside down wouldn’t be much of a challenge, don’t you think?”
It was true–Suzy’s capabilities alone were already terrifying, but if Dylan joined forces with her…
George’s face turned even paler.

“Have you made up your mind?” Desmond’s lips curled into a smile, but his gaze was sharp enough to make George avoid eye contact, especially when he looked at Dylan, who had been silent the entire time.
The chilling aura surrounding Dylan was like that of a devil straight out of hell.
If George refused to reveal what they wanted, his fate would surely be grim. But if he did talk… He had sworn to his master never to disclose the hiding place, no matter the circumstances. With that thought, George decided to throw caution to the wind. Fixing his gaze on Dylan, he said defiantly, “Go ahead and kill me! At least then I can join my master!”
Desmond raised an eyebrow. “Well, I’ve seen gutsy people before, but you’re something else. Do you really have no fear of death?”
Even Dylan hadn’t expected George’s apparent willingness to die. His dark eyes narrowed dangerously. “George, if you want to die so badly, I’ll grant your wish.”
He glanced at Desmond, who immediately understood and grabbed George, dragging him out. “Where are you taking me?” George demanded.

Desmond smirked coldly. “To hell. But before that, you’ll have to go through some formalities -like walking through fire or climbing a mountain of blades.”
“If you’re going to kill me, just do it quickly!” George tried to sound brave, but his trembling voice betrayed him. The mention of what was to come already had him terrified.
“A quick death? That’s out of the question,” Desmond replied with a dark chuckle. “Your mouth is far too stubborn. We’ll need to soften it up first.”
Suzy knew the moment Dylan took George away but didn’t try to stop him. It wasn’t the first time he’d interfered in her matters, and no amount of warning ever worked.
If he insisted on meddling, so be it. She was curious to see just how far his involvement would
and what he could achieve with this so–called “intervention.”
