Elliot shot a sharp look at Diana,

Suzy was speechless.
What was amazing?
Could it be that seeing her face was amazing?

Because she missed Diana too!
With that thought, Suzy hugged Diana back with just as much strength. “Yes, it’s really amazing!”
Hearing her response, Diana grew even more excited.
So, her brother hadn’t lied to her. Suzy really had forgiven him, and they were truly getting back together!
If Grace found out, she’d definitely be thrilled!
The more Diana thought about it, the more excited she became. She couldn’t wait to call and share the news with Grace right now.
With that in mind, Diana acted immediately. She pushed Suzy aside, grabbed her phone from her bag, and declared, “I’m calling Grandma right now.”
Suzy assumed the call was simply to tell Grace that the two of them had met. So, she didn’t stop her. But as soon as the call connected, Diana’s first words were: “Grandma, my brother, and my sister–in–law are getting remarried!”

Dylan’s gaze turned sharp. Once Diana hung up the call, she cheerfully announced, “Suzy, Grandma was so happy to hear that you and my brother are getting remarried….”

“Misunderstanding?” Diana’s smile froze instantly. “What kind of misunderstanding?”
Suzy glanced in Dylan’s direction. “You were probably deceived by someone.”
Diana quickly turned to look at Dylan. “Are you saying you and my brother aren’t getting remarried, and he lied to me?”
The disappointment on her face was so evident that Suzy couldn’t help feeling a little sorry for her. After a brief hesitation, she nodded. “Yes.”
Diana’s breathing grew uneven as she turned to Dylan. “Brother, is that true?”
Dylan was speechless.
His silence was answer enough. Diana’s brows furrowed even tighter. “Say something! Why aren’t you saying anything?”
“Diana…”
“Don’t call me!” Diana glared at him fiercely. “I don’t want to hear a single word from you right now!”
Being deceived by her own brother made her feel especially resentful. “Do you know how happy I was when you told me you were getting back together with Suzy?
“Even though I’ve always said that your relationship with her isn’t something I would interfere in, and that whether she comes back to you or not depends entirely on her own choice
“I’ve always believed that being with you might not make her happy. But deep down, I still hoped the two of you could be together again.
