“Since Mr. Wright insists, I suppose I have nothing more to say!” The leader wasn’t one to back down easily. Without hesitation, he pulled out a gun and pressed it against Victor’s forehead. “So, Mr. Wright, will you let us through or not?”
Victor froze.
Acting was one thing, but why use him as a prop? He was the vice leader of the Yellowtail Squadron, for heaven’s sake! Having a gun pointed at his head like this was humiliating.
He cast a resentful glance at Dylan, silently vowing to hold him accountable for this later.

The leader smirked, though his eyes remained ice–cold. “I’m not looking to escalate things, but you’ve left me no choice. This is my mission. If I fail to complete it, I’ll have a hard time explaining myself when I return. So, one last time, Mr. Wright–will you cooperate?”
Before Dylan could reply, Suzy stepped forward and spoke firmly. “I’ll take responsibility for my own actions. I’m the one who killed that person, so I’ll bear the consequences.”
“Suzy…” Dylan started, but she cut him off.
“This is my problem. Stay out of it.”
Without giving anyone a chance to argue, Suzy walked straight up to the leader. “I’ll go with you.”
“Boss…” Allen and Riley called out in unison, stepping forward.
“Stay put!” Suzy commanded, her tone leaving no room for debate.
With that, she followed the men without looking back.
“So, Suzy was just taken away by the people Evangeline sent?”
Serena kept a close eye on every move Suzy and Evangeline made.
“Dylan tried to stop them, but the one in charge was Tiger, and that guy never shows. anyone any mercy. Not even Dylan could do anything against him.”
