Evelina seized the moment, “Lemira, Lucian meant well, why embarrass him in front of everyone? You have no idea how lucky I think you
are.”
A senior student by Lemira’s side sneered, “Evelina, you’re just a driver’s daughter and yet here you are, attending a prestigious business school. Whose spot did you take, huh?”

“No wonder Goddess Lemon cut ties with her family. If I were in her shoes, I’d do the same!”
Evelina was left speechless and looked towards Lucian for support, “Lucian, I didn’t mean to. I was just trying to calm Lemira down!”

Lemira, with a half–smile, told the lawyer, “You have a day to think it over. I’m pretty reasonable.”
“Ms. Langston, I’ll have to report back, but if you insist on opposing the Sinclair family, we’ll withdraw our team’s funding. Consider your options carefully.”
After the lawyer left, Lemira knew this was a problem she needed to solve.
The only company she knew that could sponsor them was Maple Group.
After some thought, Lemira texted Thaddeus: [Mr. Draven, fancy grabbing dinner sometime?]
Thaddeus was taken aback by the message.
He looked up at Orion, “Have you been in touch with Lemon lately?”
Orion, previously engrossed in his documents, looked solemn, “No.”
“But she just asked me to dinner!”
