“They…” Simon clenched his fists, his eyes filled with a hatred so deep it seemed to burn through him. “At first, Charlotte didn’t kill the three of us outright. She found three boys around our age, disguised them to look like us, and hid the three of us away in secret.

I thought she was finally going to give me food or water. But instead, she said something I’ll never forget for the rest of my life.
