Chapter 0481
The message was crystal clear: Dylan needed to stay out of this, or she wouldn’t hesitate to go after him.
It was a stark reminder of just how unhinged the woman truly was. Dylan wasn’t some ordinary man–he was the leader of the Yellowtail Squadron, with the full weight of Zentora behind him. Yet, she remained utterly unfazed.
Thinking about the woman’s recklessness, Suzy immediately called Dylan. “Go back to the hotel right now!”
Hearing the urgency in her voice, Dylan immediately understood. “That woman called you again, didn’t she?“.
“Since you’ve already figured it out, stop wasting time and get back to the hotel. Pack your things and head back to Zentora!”
“I’m not about to let you carry this all on your own!” Dylan’s tone was firm. He was a man and it was his job to protect her, yet she was the one taking on the bulk of the burden.
“This is my problem, not yours!” Suzy raised her voice. “Dylan, I’m not asking you–I’m telling you. If you don’t want Grandma and Diana dragged into this mess, then stay out of it!”
“I’ve already arranged for Grandma and Diana to be safe.”
Before coming here, he had anticipated every possibility and made sure the two of them were in a well–guarded location. Just like Suzy had been last time, they were surrounded by layers of protection.
“That’s still not enough!” Suzy insisted, unwilling to let him remain involved. “She’s in the shadows, watching our every move, while we don’t even know who she really is. Dylan, she’s targeting me. Why do you insist on throwing yourself into this mess?”
“Because I…” Dylan started but abruptly changed his tone. “It’s late. Go back to the hotel and get some rest.”
Before Suzy could respond, Dylan hung up.
Frustrated, Suzy called him again, but he wouldn’t answer.
Messages went unanswered as well.
“Dylan!” Suzy muttered through clenched teeth, then tried calling Desmond, only to have him ignore her too.
It was clear Dylan had given instructions. Otherwise, Desmond wouldn’t refuse to take her call.

Chapter 0481
Dylan’s actions said it all–he wasn’t going to stand by and do nothing.
Of course, he wouldn’t. How could he, after already ending up with injured legs because of this?
Riley. Dylan.
Suzy pressed her lips into a tight line and redialed the anonymous number. This time, the call was answered almost instantly.
“Miss Frost, did you finally make up her mind?
“Release Riley and stop involving anyone else that’s my condition,” Suzy said coldly, her expression unreadable. “Otherwise, we’ll go down together.”
“As long as Miss Frost can follow through, I don’t see any issue on my end. The question is, will you keep your word this time?”
“As long as Riley returns safely, I’ll act immediately.”
“She’ll be back at the hotel and reunited with Allen within half an hour,” the woman said before abruptly hanging up.
Suzy began counting the minutes. True to the woman’s word, exactly thirty minutes later, her phone rang—it was Allen.
“Boss, Riley’s back!” he exclaimed, his voice filled with indescribable joy.
“Take good care of her…” Suzy hesitated before adding, “She’s pregnant–with your child.

Allen was speechless.
Keeping her promise, once Riley was back safely, Suzy wasted no time heading to Evangeline’s estate.
This time was different–she didn’t sneak around. She walked in openly, making her presence known.
As an uninvited guest, her sudden arrival immediately put the entire estate on high alert.
Armed guards surrounded her in no time, their handguns aimed directly at her. The leader of the group stepped forward and demanded, “Who are you? And who sent you here?”
