After finishing the prescription, Allen packed up his medical kit. “If there’s nothing else, I’ll be on my way.”
Just as Allen slung his bag over his shoulder and prepared to leave, Dylan finally asked, “Is Suzy really that busy?”

Moments ago, he’d calculated the timing and figured Suzy should be arriving soon, so he had gone out of his way to clear the assistant’s office to ensure Dylan and Suzy could have some uninterrupted time alone.
He had no idea Allen would show up instead.
It took him a moment to gather himself before saying, “Mr. Wheeler, this way, please.” Nodding slightly at Desmond, Allen headed out first.

Desmond was speechless.

What Desmond didn’t know was that Allen had already mentioned this to Dylan. So, after escorting Allen out, Desmond returned to the executive office with a sense of urgency.
“Sir, I think you should seriously reconsider whether it’s wise to continue keeping your distance from Mrs. Wright. Temptations in this world are overwhelming these days, and someone as remarkable as her is bound to turn heads wherever she goes.
