Facing Evelina’s skepticism, Lemira was hardly surprised. She coolly shot back, “You’re as dumb as a doorpost, and you think you’ve got the right to question me?”
“Don’t try to change the subject, Lemira.”
Evelina’s face turned beet red with anger, “You couldn’t even answer the question. You must’ve sneakily googled it on your phone just so you could jot it down. Doesn’t make you a genius!”
Susanna had been shocked too, half–believing Lemira was that smart. Turned out, it was all an act.
Evelina acted with an air of moral superiority, “Lemira, I’m calling you out for your own good in case you’d make further mistakes. It’s wrong to lie, after all.”

Evelina’s face turned even redder, feeling the mocking glances of everyone around.
Susanna also looked disdainful, but didn’t want Lemira to get too cocky and retorted, “Our Business School doesn’t just focus on grades, something a bumpkin like you would never understand.”
“For some blockhead like you, calling others cheaters when you can’t do a thing? Isn’t that funny?”
Susanna stood up abruptly, “Calling me blockhead? I’ve had a top–tier education all my life, something you’d only see on TV. You must be so jealous deep down!”
Lemira tugged her lips, “If you’re so brilliant, why don’t you solve the problem?”
“Solving this problem is too easy. We learn coding, you know. If you really know this, writing a small program shouldn’t be hard, right?”
The amusement in Lemira’s eyes deepened, “You want to bet on it?”
“Yes, if you can really write a program, it’ll prove you can solve that problem! But if you lose, you’ll kneel and apologize to the teachers and students for lying!”
Lemira saw Susanna’s smug look. She said calmly, “And what if you lose?”
“I won’t lose!”
Susanna was confident, because she already had taken these courses before.
Lemira raised an eyebrow, “Afraid to bet? Scared of losing?”
“Who says I’m scared? You’re on!”
“Fine, if you lose, you’ll kneel and apologize for slandering me!”
Lemira was bold! Everyone present, including the teacher, doubted Lemira’s move against Ms. Sinclair was wise.
“Sadly, Lemira, you’re bound to lose.”
Confident, Susanna approached the podium, “Let’s start with the school’s forum then, write some redirect code.”
She used the teacher’s computer to open the school forum.
But the top post was about Lemira being out all night, craving wealth. Susanna deliberately let everyone see this, aiming to ruin Lemira!
In no time, Susanna had the code ready, opening the post and a photo of Lemira getting out of a luxury car.
Now, everyone was discussing Lemira’s night out.
Susanna gloated, “Lemira, care to explain why you were out all night, getting out of a luxury car?”
“Was it her first time in such a car yesterday?”
“And the designer clothes she’s wearing today, did she earn them after sleeping with those men?”
Susanna’s lackeys started jeering, mocking Lemira. Lemira’s expression was impassive, “Spreading filthy rumors, that’s legally actionable. Just a luxury car; it’s not like I can’t afford it!”
She was doing quite well for herself. Besides her income from streaming, she had a salary from Maple Group and project bonuses. Susanna laughed loudly, “Oh, come on, Lemira, you’re just a hick, stop bragging here.”
“Lemira, do you even know how much that car costs? You’ve probably never seen that much money in your life!”
“Hicks will be hicks, bragging without a clue!”
Susanna kept laughing as she urged, “Your turn, Lemira. If you can’t do it, just apologize in advance. I might consider letting you off “You’re the loser here.“
