Suzy’s sharp eyes caught Charlotte’s attempt to pull a dirty trick. She lunged forward, yanking Allen and Riley away, and delivered a powerful kick to knock the vial of poison from Charlotte’s hand.
The force sent Charlotte stumbling backward, slamming into the wall with a resounding
thud.
Suzy didn’t let up. Before Charlotte could recover, she stormed forward, grabbed her by the throat, and pinned her against the wall.
Turning back to the others, she barked, “All of you, get out!”
Allen and Riley protested immediately. “Boss, we’re not leaving you alone, no matter what!”
“Get out!” Suzy’s voice boomed, her tone leaving no room for argument. “Now. Immediately.”
The two exchanged reluctant glances, their hesitation clear, but Suzy’s glare silenced further objections. She issued her final command, “This is an order. You will follow it!”
With visible reluctance, Allen and Riley retreated, though neither truly wanted to leave her behind. But they knew Suzy wouldn’t relent until they obeyed. Charlotte was a formidable opponent, and they couldn’t risk distracting Suzy.
Ruby, watching the scene unfold, felt her heart twist in worry. No matter what Charlotte had done, she was still her sister. And as much as Charlotte had wronged her, Ruby couldn’t abandon her.
As the others left, Ruby hesitated, then abruptly turned and dashed back. Rushing up behind Suzy, she threw her arms around her, pulling with all her strength to drag her away from Charlotte.
Suzy’s grip on Charlotte’s neck loosened as Ruby’s desperate tugging shifted her balance.
Seizing the moment, Charlotte shoved Suzy backward with all her might.
Ruby, still clinging to Suzy, stumbled as she pulled her further away, widening the distance between the two.
“Run!” Ruby shouted at Charlotte, her voice laced with urgency.
Instead of fleeing, Charlotte smirked and glanced at Ruby. “Well, at least in a crisis, you do manage to play the part of a proper sister.”
“Stop talking and go!” Ruby yelled, her voice shaking with desperation.

As she spoke, she pressed a button on the wall behind her. Instantly, a massive iron cage descended from the ceiling, trapping Suzy and Ruby inside.
Ruby stared at Charlotte in disbelief. “What are you doing?”
“What do you think?” Charlotte’s smile widened, her tone laced with mockery. “Since you’re so eager to play the role of a good sister, I’ll give you that chance.”
Turning her attention to Suzy, she added, “Ruby is my sister, so I’ll give her to you as a parting gift. She can accompany you straight to hell. That way, when you meet your parents, you can tell them their killer didn’t get away and that you avenged them.”
Ruby scowled, her brows furrowing deeply. “Charlotte, how much more deranged can you get?”
A cold chuckle escaped Charlotte’s lips. “Don’t give me that look, Ruby. You’re the one who chose to save me. I never begged you to do it. Honestly, I didn’t expect you to be so foolish. If I were you, I’d never have done something so stupid.”
“You-”
Charlotte waved a hand dismissively. “Enough. Being a sister means making sacrifices. It’s your duty to protect me, isn’t it? So, dear sister, I’m giving you the chance to fulfill your role–by going to hell with Suzy.”
Without waiting for a response, Charlotte turned and walked toward the exit. As she reached the doorway, she pulled a lever to lower the heavy iron door, sealing them inside. Then, from outside, she pressed a button to activate the bombs.
