Chapter 0181
Dylan glanced at Suzy, saying, “If it were your sister, would you trust leaving her entirely. in someone else’s care?”
“What are you getting at?” Suzy had a feeling she understood but pressed anyway. “You feel she’s safe at Bayview Heights, but not here? Fine, if that’s the case, take her back yourself.”
Without hesitation, Dylan walked over to Diana and said, “Let’s go.”
Diana, who had been lost in thought, looked up in confusion. “Where are we going?”
“Home.”
Hearing this, Diana looked to Suzy. “Sis, didn’t you say I could stay here?”
Before Suzy could respond, Dylan cut in, “She changed her mind.”
Suzy gritted her teeth, resisting the urge to tear into him right then and there.
She’d expected Diana to protest, but instead, she merely cast Suzy a disappointed look before nodding and following Dylan..
That look of disappointment hit Suzy hard like a child feeling abandoned. She hated the thought of leaving Diana to him, but if she insisted Diana stayed, it was clear Dylan would, too, playing his games.
Fine, she decided. If they wanted to stay, they’d stay.
“Someone, prepare a room for Mr. Wright.”
As he led Diana out of the room, a faint smile tugged at Dylan’s lips.
And so, the siblings moved into the Harlow estate.
Dylan left early the next morning for work, and without his presence, the day went smoothly enough. But to Suzy’s irritation, he returned after work and, to top it off, made a grand show of picking her up at the Harlow Corporation.
“Dylan, don’t you have to be with Anne?” Suzy shot, not particularly wanting to bring Anne up, but at the moment, it was the only way to make a point.
Dylan’s tone was casual yet pointed. “Didn’t you tell me to show more concern for my family?”
Suzy felt her patience slip. This man, once quiet and restrained, seemed to have discovered a newfound talent for banter lately. Without indulging further, she turned and drove off, eager to return to Diana.
Watching her leave, Dylan allowed himself a small smile and followed her car at a

comfortable distance.
Across the street, Hawk observed them as they left in succession, a dark gleam in his eyes.
“Seems I underestimated you, Dylan,” he murmured.
At the Harlow estate, the moment Suzy stepped inside, she asked a nearby servant, Where’s Diana?”
“In her room, Miss Frost. She’s been in there all day and hasn’t come out once. Even when I brought her lunch, she insisted I leave it by the door.”
A flicker of worry passed through Suzy. That morning, she had tried everything to persuade Diana to come with her to the office, but Diana had refused to leave the house.
Dylan, who had followed her inside, frowned at the news as well. The two of them headed

Her smile was pure joy as if she’d been waiting all day just to see Suzy. The look struck Suzy deeply, filling her with a bittersweet ache, “How about I skip work tomorrow and stay with you instead?”
Diana’s eyes sparkled with delight. “Really?”
“Yes, really.”
At this point, nothing was more important than Diana’s well–being. Though she looked fine on the surface, Suzy knew just how fragile Diana’s mental state was beneath that smile.
