I was discharged from the hospital, but Ethan did not come to pick me up.
But he, for the first time ever, ordered me a bouquet of flowers.
In a five–year marriage, he had sent countless flowers to every lover he had, but as his wife, I
received them for the first time.
In the past days, even if he just casually handed me a card, I cherished it and framed it for
collection.
I directly refused to accept the large bouquet of lilies in front of me.
Upon learning the news, Ethan became so angry that he burst out cursing, and his voice could be heard coming from the delivery driver’s phone.

dog!”

During dinner, Ethan suddenly brought Iris back to the Matthews‘ manor.
I treated them like air, continuing to eat as if nothing happened. Ethan, seeing me like this and unable to explode, held his breath and went to the balcony to smoke.
Iris stepped in her pointed high heels, swaying her snake–like waist as she sat down next to me.

I heard some noise coming from the balcony, it was Ethan getting ready to come in.
In the past, when faced with such framing and entrapment, I would always panic and try to defend myself, but all I got in return was Ethan’s sarcastic remarks.
Today, I firmly took hold of the soup pot and, in the presence of Ethan, directly smashed the
ceramic container onto Iris.
Ethan roared and slapped me hard.
“Bitch! How could someone as petty and clueless as you, a stupid fool, become the mistress of the Matthews family!”
I was knocked down to the ground, and more than ten wounds were pierced by the scattered ceramic shards all over the floor, causing my body to be covered in blood.
Pain seized my
entire body, and all I could hear in my ears was Ethan’s furious roar.
“Megan, I asked you to apologize to Iris! Are you deaf?”
I hung my head and silently sneered at the bleeding wound.
Ethan got furious and kicked me in the lower back, pressing my neck against Iris.
The woman’s glamorous and arrogant face came into view, with a smug smile at the corner of her mouth, exuding an unparalleled arrogance.

The next second, I suddenly stood up and poured the dishes on the table one by one onto my head. I forcefully smashed the empty ceramic utensils onto my body.

“What happened? Why are there so many pinholes?”

ating out than coming home.
