“The call was answered! The miracle doctor picked up the call and said he’s nearby and will be here soon!” Desmond nearly jumped with excitement as he hung up. “But there’s one condition–he wants everyone to clear the area for now, and all the security cameras here need to be shut off.”
Dylan didn’t hesitate. “Notify security immediately.”
Desmond quickly went to find hospital staff to relay the request to the security office, while Dylan and Victor left the emergency area, clearing the space in minutes.
Only then did Suzy emerge from her hidden spot in the corner.
It was fine for her identity as the Frost family’s heiress to be public, but the rest…
Whether she was called a miracle doctor or anything else, it was just a label.
There was no need to make a show of it.
After changing into sterile clothing, Suzy stepped into the operating room. With just a glance at Diana lying on the table, she felt her heart clench. Diana’s injuries were indeed severe, with critical head trauma.
Calming her unsteady heartbeat, Suzy approached the operating table and began the delicate craniotomy.
Throughout the procedure, the attending medical staff looked on in awe.
Even the surgeon who had initially taken charge of Diana’s case–a doctor with an international reputation–was stunned.
Until now, he had harbored a quiet skepticism about Red Falcon, dismissing the figure as a glorified myth or a mere gimmick, someone hiding behind a mask of secrecy to build mystique.
In fact, he’d mentioned Red Falcon to Dylan earlier simply to deflect blame, knowing that Red Falcon was nearly impossible to summon. If Diana didn’t make it, he’d have someone else to blame–the elusive “miracle doctor” they’d failed to bring in.
But now, Red Falcon had not only shown up in record time but was demonstrating skill beyond anything he’d anticipated.
After two and a half hours, the surgery concluded, and Diana’s life was saved.
As she left the operating room, Suzy addressed the medical staff gathered there. “I think we’re all clear on what should stay between us, right?”
The group exchanged glances before nodding in agreement, indicating their
understanding.

Suzy nodded back, gave Diana one last look, and then turned to leave.
Outside the operating room, Allen was waiting and immediately handed her a thermos he’d prepared. “Have some water.”
Suzy took it to drink.
“Assign someone to watch over this area.”
“I’ll take care of it right away.”
If this really hadn’t been an accident, someone might still be after Diana, so a discreet guard was essential. Dylan had plenty of his own security, but adding a few more wouldn’t hurt.
There was one more thing Suzy needed to address. “Where’s Diana’s car being held?”
“In the first precinct nearby–just two streets away. They would have impounded it as part of the accident investigation.”
Suzy’s gaze darkened, and after a thoughtful pause, she took another sip of water. “Notify Dylan that the surgery is done.”
As soon as Allen’s call came through, Desmond hurried over to inform Dylan. “Sir, the surgery was a success.”
Without a word, Dylan left the room.
He hadn’t gone far; he’d been waiting on the floor just above the operating room. He stepped into the elevator with Victor, heading downstairs.
As they exited the elevator, Dylan’s gaze caught a familiar silhouette in the distance.
Suzy?
“Hey, what are you looking at, Dylan?” Victor followed his line of sight but saw nothing.
There was no one there.
Dylan ignored Victor’s question
He redirected his focus toward the recovery room and continued down the hallway without a word.
