Catalaiya’s pov:
Time flew by in a blink of an eye.
For Christmas, Leo invited us over for a Christmas dinner. He also invited Thalia, Alfred, Carter, Nayvee, Adam and Alicia. After dinner, we spent the night, sipping on some hot chocolate while looking at a Christmas movie in his backyard. We each had a blanket as we got cosy with our partner.
Even Carter and Nayvee got cosy.
For the New year, both Aziel and I worked overtime and came home around 11:30 pm. We changed into our PJs, went outside and waited for the countdown. Alfred bought some firecrackers and he lighten everything right on the dot. Aziel kissed me before going to my belly and kissing our little munchkin.
Around 12:25 am, we went to bed. Well, I did. Aziel tugged me in bed, kissed me goodnight and goodbye. By 12:45 am, he was in the private jet, flying to L.A for a mafia work. Adam and Carter went with him.
(February 3rd)
Today was our first wedding anniversary and I was 18 weeks pregnant. This morning when I woke up, Aziel told me to stay home and to be ready by 10 am. He was home too but he was busy talking on his phone in a low voice.
I dressed up, did light make up and curled my hair at the end. Since the dress I chose was a skin fitted one, it made my belly look bigger than it was. Not that I minded.
I walked outside the bathroom and found Aziel by the bed. His eyes landed on me and he gave me a warm smile. I smiled back. He hangs up before putting his phone in his pocket.
“Ready to go, love?” He asked and I nodded.
“Where are we going?” I inquired.
“We’ll have lunch then I have a surprise for you.” He answered making me curious.
“A surprise,” I repeated and he nodded.
I like the sound of it, I wonder what the surprise is…
I grabbed my bag before walking downstairs to the car. He drove us to the first restaurant which

was like thirty–five minutes away from our house. We stepped out of the car and made our way inside the building where we had to take an elevator to go to the restaurant. Yes, it was a roof
restaurant.
The door of the elevator opened and I looked around.
Aziel walked to the main counter, where the waitress told us where our tables were. We walked to
the table by the side and settle down. She handed us our menu before walking away.
I’m happy that she was polite and respectful… not gawking at my man.
“What do you want to eat?” Aziel asked me.
“The mozzarella chicken sounds good,” I commented as I looked in the menu card.
“Hmm, the chicken strips also sounds good.” He added.
“Let’s take both,” we both said at the same and chuckled.
He called the waitress and ordered our food. He also got a fruit yoghurt and mango juice for both of
- us.
“So… mind tell me more about the surprise?” I asked him.
“Hmm,” he thought about it.
“Please,” I pouted.
“All I can say it’s pink and white,” he said briefly making me furrow my eyebrows.
Pink and white? What can be pink and white?
Actually a lot of things…
“Now I’m more curious,” I said and he chuckled.
“Sorry love, but I can’t say anything else.” He smiled.
He reached to grab my hand and kiss it.
“I still can’t believe that it’s been a year since we’ve been together… and today is our first wedding anniversary and our first date.” He chuckled at the end, making me smile.
That’s true…
“And I’m carrying our first little munchkin,” I added.

“A lot of first…” he commented.
The waitress walked to us with our food and put everything on the table. We thanked her before starting to eat.
After lunch, we stayed a few minutes before we got up and went to pay–Aziel paid. We then made our way back to the car. Aziel drove twenty minutes away from the restaurant and stopped by a florist shop.
“That’s our stop.” He told me.
Here?
We both climbed out of the car and he reached to put his arm around my waist as we walked inside. As soon as we walked in, a lady walked to us.
“Yes?” She asked politely.
“Mr and Mrs Alvaro,” Aziel replied.
“Oh, right… it’s ready.” She says before handing Aziel a key and a blindfold.
He turned to me, “Love, you’ll have to trust me here.”
“Ok,” I agreed. I know I can trust him.
He put the blindfold over my eyes and tie it at the back.
“I’m going to pick you up, it’ll be easier to get there.” I heard him say. Before I could say anything else, I felt myself being lifted. I wrapped my arm around his neck, holding tightly.
I feel him start to walk and five minutes later, he stopped. He put me back on my feet before opening a door.
“Take a few steps,”
I did. I make a few steps before he stopped me. I feel him untie the blindfold and when he removed
it, I opened my eyes.
I gasped.
That’s so pretty…
I felt his hands on my shoulders, “Let’s walk in the middle.”
I nodded before walking forward. I lift my hand and touch the dangling flowers and crystals. I

stopped in the middle and looked around.
“I love it,” I told Aziel.
“I’m glad you do.”
He walked closer to me and grabbed my hands in his, before looking at me in the eyes, “Our wedding day wasn’t a good day. It doesn’t hold good memories, I remember I felt pissed and angry and I acted like an asshole to you for a month.”
Unfortunately, those dreadful moments are unforgettable.
He surprised me when he kneel, “Catalaiya, will you remarry me? However, this time, our close friends and close family members will be with us… and our baby.”
“Y–yes.” I nodded. I feel one of my tears roll down my cheeks, I try to hold the rest in but I couldn’t.
He stood up and leaned to crash his lips on mine. I kissed him back with the same force and passion. We eventually pulled away.
“I love you,” I told him.
“I love you too,” he pecked my lips.
“And you,” he bend and kissed my belly.
I smiled.
“Do you wanna lay down and look up at the flowers for a while?” Aziel suggested.
“Yes,”
We both lay down on the petals, intertwined our fingers before looking up at the decorations.
I love today…
