“Aunt?”
Suzy was stunned to see her long–lost aunt, Charlotte Frost, standing there.
It had been years since they last met.
Back when the entire Frost family was murdered overnight, it was Charlotte who had risked everything in the chaos to save Suzy.
Charlotte had even arranged for Suzy to join a mysterious organization, where she trained to one day avenge her parents and brothers. Without Charlotte’s intervention, Suzy knew she’d have likely faced the same tragic fate as her family at the hands of those ruthless

Charlotte was the only blood relative Suzy had left in the world.
Their connection, however, was a closely guarded secret; they never interacted in public.
Curious as to why her aunt would be here in the middle of the night, Suzy decided to follow her quietly. But halfway through, she lost her trail.
Feeling frustrated, she felt a tap on her shoulder from behind.
Turning around, she saw Charlotte, the very person she’d lost track of, and quickly
withdrew her raised fist, bowing slightly. “Aunt.‘
Charlotte looked her up and down. “Girl, it’s been three years, and your skills have slipped a bit.”
Despite her words, her eyes were filled with joy at their reunion and unmistakable affection for Suzy.
“Your skill is just too good,” Suzy replied honestly. “What brings you here to the Goodwin. estate so late?”
Charlotte raised an eyebrow playfully. “What, starting to question your own aunt?”
Before Suzy could answer, Charlotte added, “This isn’t the place to talk–let’s get out of here first.”

Suzy followed Charlotte to her private villa, a place Suzy had never visited before.
In the living room, the first thing that caught her eye was a family portrait sitting beside the television.

Every year on her birthday, her parents would take a family photo, and that day had been the last. It was her birthday but also the day her entire family perished. Since then, Suzy had never celebrated her birthday again.
Thinking back to those happy moments with her family, tears began to stream down her face. In her mind, she saw flashes of that horrific night, hiding in the wardrobe, witnessing the bloody massacre of her loved ones.
“Don’t cry. Your parents and brothers wouldn’t want to see you like this,” Charlotte said gently, handing her a tissue. “For them, nothing would be more important than seeing you live a happy life.”
“A happy life…” Suzy laughed bitterly, her tears falling even faster. “How can I be happy without them?”
“Yes…” Charlotte’s face darkened with rage. “I still can’t understand what kind of hatred could drive them to such cruelty–to wipe out an entire family of over a hundred people. If
hadn’t gotten there in time, even you…”
“No matter the cost, I will find the people responsible!” Suzy vowed through clenched teeth. “And I will make them pay.
“I know you will, and I believe in you,” Charlotte replied, pulling Suzy down to sit on the couch beside her. “Want something to drink? I’ll get it for you.”
“No, don’t bother, Aunt. I’m not thirsty.”
“Alright.” Charlotte settled across from Suzy and returned to the topic they’d left unfinished at the Goodwin estate. “You asked why I was at the Goodwin residence tonight?”
