Whatever his intentions were, she didn’t care, and there was no way she’d let herself turn back. From the moment she chose to divorce, she’d sworn she’d never look back.

Following the information T had provided, Dylan had Desmond investigate Suzy. Studying the report, he found it matched T’s details perfectly, his gaze darkening with thought.
Noticing his reaction, Desmond asked, “Is there something wrong,
sir?”
Dylan closed the file and looked at Desmond. “Perfect match.”
Desmond let out a sigh of relief. “So, there really isn’t anything suspicious about her. It seems we misjudged her.‘
Dylan didn’t respond. He turned to the window, lost in thought for a long moment before finally saying, “Keep monitoring the people in that report.”
Desmond hesitated but nodded. “Understood.
As he was about to leave, Dylan added, “The company’s considering developing a new project. In your opinion, what has the best prospects right now?”
Desmond blinked, quickly masking his surprise. “Renewable energy?”
Dylan nudged his chin toward the screen. “Go on, tell me more.
Desmond thought hard, stringing together his reasoning. “Earth’s resources are being rapidly depleted. Many of them aren’t renewable, so we need to explore alternative energy sources… That’s why I believe renewable energy will become the next major trend.”

“Is that so?” Dylan swiveled his laptop around to face Desmond. “Get in touch with her. Soon.”
On the screen was Tina, the record–breaking Nobel laureate in both Chemistry and Physics, holding the highest award count, with her chemistry streak unmatched for over a decade.
“What did you say? Who wants to see me?” Suzy had been too focused on her documents to catch what Allen had said.
Lately, she’d been buried in work for Harlow Corp.
Since the bid ended, she’d even transferred an additional one billion dollars into the Harlow account to help fund the initial stages of the project. Managing the groundwork was no small feat–factory setups, equipment sourcing, all the endless moving parts.
Fully overseeing a project was proving to be no easy task, especially with Claude’s poor health; she wanted to take on as much of the workload as possible. Late nights spent pouring over documents had become her routine, though she kept most of it hidden from
Claude.
Allen, sitting across from her, finally snatched the papers out of her hands. “This company belongs to Claude, yet you’re throwing in both money and effort?”
She’d tossed in ninety billion dollars without batting an eye, and now she was working late into the night. As good as Claude was, Allen couldn’t fathom how he could be worth all this
to her.
