Chapter 0032
To be fair, Dylan did care about Grace to some extent.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t have stopped halfway through signing the papers earlier. It wasn’t that he didn’t want a divorce–it was just that he didn’t dare because of Grace.
Without saying anything more, Suzy turned to leave.
But suddenly, her hair, tied neatly at the back of her head, was grabbed by him.
Suzy hadn’t expected Dylan to do something like this–something that only couples would do.
She froze for a moment, then turned back to him, her expression cold. “Mr. Wright, take a good look. I’m Suzy Frost, the woman you can’t stand, not Anne.”
He must’ve been off his meds or something. It was the only explanation for why he was acting so weird.
Dylan’s eyes flickered. “Grandma is watching.
Suzy glanced up and, sure enough, she saw Grace peeking from the second–floor window. As soon as she turned, Grace quickly ducked behind the curtains.
So, this was why he had acted strangely.
Dylan let go of her hair and opened the car door. “Get in.”
Suzy exhaled a long breath and reluctantly got into the car.

Once they were out of Grace’s sight, said, “Stop at the next intersection.”
Dylan didn’t respond, acting like he hadn’t heard her.
He stayed silent.
Suzy thought he was simply ignoring her and didn’t
press further.
But instead of stopping at the intersection, he picked up speed.
Then, surprisingly, he asked, “Where are you staying?”
“How considerate,” she replied with a hint of sarcasm. “You’re actually offering to take me home? I’m impressed. But you’re busy with more important things, I can manage on my
own.”
Dylan let out a small laugh. “What, afraid I’ll see someone I shouldn’t?”
Glancing at her briefly, he added, “Suzy, Grandma just got back. I don’t want to upset her, so move back to Bayview Heights as soon as possible.”
Chapter 602
Suzy didn’t want to argue with him any longer
After quickly giving him her address, she turned to gaze out the window, pointedly ignoring him.
Arguing with him was pointless–the more she said, the more frustrated she became.
It was better to wait for the right moment to escape.
If it weren’t for the fact that she had dealt with him before and feared that trying to fight him off might blow her cover, she wouldn’t have bothered with so much pointless
conversation.
But Suzy never got the chance to escape.
Halfway through the drive, Diana called. “Brother, come back quickly, Grandma fell.”
…What? Is it serious?”
Suzy’s heart tightened with worry.
“She missed a step coming down the stairs. It looks pretty bad. You two need to hurry back.
Neither of them questioned it, immediately turning the car around and rushing home.
As soon as they arrived, Suzy hurried to Grace’s room.
Grace was lying on the bed, her face pale.
When she saw Suzy, tears welled up in her eyes. “Suzy, I’m really getting old. I can’t even manage the stairs without falling.”
“Grandma, everyone has accidents. It has nothing to do with age.” Suzy gently holding Grace’s hand, and quietly checked her condition again.
t at the bedside,
Everything seemed perfectly normal!
“Grandma, where did you hurt yourself?”
Grace’s eyes flickered slightly. “Luckily, Diana was right behind me and caught me in time. I just twisted my back a little.”
Diana, sitting in a chair nearby, raised her hand “Yep! I was right there and grabbed her just in time. If she had rolled down the stairs, it would’ve been a disaster.”
Then she added, “Suzy, I have school, and my brother has work. Even though we have Madam Zocy here, she’s getting older too, and don’t feel comfortable leaving Grandma in her care. How about you stay and look after her for a while?”
Before Suzy could figure out how to respond, Dylan spoke up. “That works.”
