Desmond asked Allen, “Are you sure about this? If you send my boss over without asking, won’t your boss kick him out?”
“Probably not!” Allen replied, though not entirely confidently.
“After all, Dylan’s coming to help her. She shouldn’t kick him out for that.”
“Probably?” Desmond retorted.
“You’re not even certain! My boss is already in a bad mood as it is. If he gets turned away by your boss, it’ll just make things worse for him and especially for me! I haven’t had a decent break in forever.”
“Once this is sorted, you might finally get that break,” Allen said, urging him.
“Come on, quit complaining and get over here!”
“Fine,” Desmond sighed.
“Anyway, the one thing my boss wants most is to see Suzy again. For his happiness, I guess I’ll risk it!”
Suzy had no idea Allen had gone behind her back and called Dylan over.
So, when Dylan rolled through the door, she didn’t even glance up, assuming it was Allen.
“I already told you, I’m not tired, I’m not hungry, and I don’t need you bothering me!”
“It’s me,” Dylan said in his deep voice.
Hearing him, Suzy paused briefly but didn’t turn around. “I’m busy. Whatever you’re here for, I don’t have time. So, save yourself the trouble and leave.”
Dylan’s eyes darkened, but he said nothing. Instead, he wheeled himself closer, set up his laptop opposite her, and powered it on.
“Send me the link.”
Suzy froze.
He was here to help?
It didn’t take much thought to figure out who was behind this–Allen.
Considering Dylan’s reputation for skill, Suzy’s expression softened slightly, and she didn’t refuse.
She sent him the link and warned, “The other side is no amateur, so be careful.”
Dylan nodded. “Got it.”
What followed was a seamless collaboration.
Together, they went head–to–head with their unseen adversary across the network.
As the saying goes, two heads are better than one.
With Dylan’s expertise added to the mix, their opponent began to lose ground rapidly.
Seeing the progress, Suzy’s expression finally softened.

“This folder has a security lock. It’s tough to crack. You keep him distracted, and I’ll work on breaking it.”
“Got it,” Dylan agreed without hesitation, as he never refused Suzy’s requests.
While Dylan focused on keeping their opponent occupied, Suzy threw all her energy into deciphering the locked folder.
The security was unusually intricate, making it incredibly difficult to crack.
Suzy tried several approaches, but none of them yielded results.
By the time Dylan completely overwhelmed their adversary she still hadn’t succeeded.
With no interference now, Suzy felt less pressured.
She glanced at Dylan, who was sitting across from her, and said, “Thanks for earlier.”
“No problem,” Dylan replied, checking the time.
“It’s midday. Go grab some lunch. I’ll take over from here.
“No need,” Suzy declined without a second thought.
“I’H finish this up first, then eat. If you’re hungry, go ahead without me.”
“Allen mentioned you haven’t been eating properly for days,” Dylan said, his tone serious as he looked directly at her.
“If you keep this up, your body is going to give out. No matter how worried you are about Elliot, you can’t ignore your own health.”
Suzy gritted her teeth. “I knew it! It was him.”
Allen’s meddling was becoming more and more irritating, but she decided to let it slide this time. After all, Dylan’s presence had been a huge help.
